Do Las Vegas casinos limit your payout if you win a prop bet? For example, most Vegas Strip casinos have a max bet of $5,000. If I bet $5,000 on the Any 7 and the 7 hits, will I receive $20,000 or will I receive something less due to a cap/limit on the payout?

I'm not from Vegas so I don't know the local rules. But on this topic before, a casino only allows odds up to triple the table max, or in this case $15,000, or a payout of $15,000 in Don't Odds. That may mean a limit of $1,500 bets on the Hard 6 or 8, or $1,875 on the Hard 4 or 10. Aces & Boxcars may have one roll limits of $500, and 3's and 11's have one roll limits of $1,000. Any 7, may have a limit of $3,750 or $3,000, not sure.
I downloaded WinCraps to play manually on the computer for free. Old timers from 20 years ago used to know how to program it to run special strategies, but I never picked up on that with the way I play. But I am rarely happy with my results from WinCraps, as I think it gives me beginner's luck for any strategy then goes so damn negative that I have to come up with another strategy to get good luck going again, if only for a day or two. A good strategy can win big if the dice are in your favor, but fail miserably when the dice have left the building. There's cursed dice days where they only lose against whatever you bet. You can switch it all up and immediately the dice do the opposite of what you bet on. This may not be exclusive to WinCraps but may extend to real dice games in a casino. You can bet just the PL and lose 15 bets then switch it up to Don't Pass and lose another 15 bets because there's nothing but Hot Shooters once you switch. It's terribly frustrating.

Thanks, Chump Change. I was wondering why this website had payouts as Double and Triple>>> Now it makes sense.

I just tried The Wizard's craps game for a second and bet $5,000 on the pass line and it was going with the 3X, 4X, 5X odds bets of $15K, $20K, and $25K. That's what I would expect from a game like this, but some casinos limit you to triple odds at table max, and payouts of other bets to triple odds payouts.
If my local casino has a $2,000 table max, and a max odds bet of $6,000; if I was playing 6X, 8X, 10X odds strategies (it's a 10X odds table), I could bet $600 on the PL and $6,000 odds on the 6/8. If it was the Don't Pass I was playing, it'd be $600 on the DP with $7,200 odds on the 6/8, or $9,000 odds on the 5/9, or $12,000 odds on the 4/10 for payouts of $6,000 on the odds.
Your reply about double and triple seem to indicate a thought about the field bets payouts on the 2 or 12. Most tables are double and double on the 2 or 12 and have an HA of 5.56%. Field bettors should avoid those tables and play on a double triple table like you see on the website layout where the HA is half at 2.78%.

Appreciate it. I'm working on strategies for Hardway and Prop Bets. With your example of your local casino with a $2,000 table max and a cap of triple payout for the Hardway and Prop Bets, the maximum bet on an Any 7 would be $1,500 for a payout of $6,000.
I believe we are on the same page. Is my above example correct regarding the Any 7?

It could be $1200 or $1500, I'm not sure. I would think $1500.

So what's your favorite no limit craps strategies so far?
I believe $5, $10, $15 tables allow $1 prop bets, but $25 tables have a $5 prop bet minimum.

Las Vegas has no cap limits on the amount you can win from a bet. Some casino table games will have a sign on them limiting the amount that can be won a a single outcome. The sign will say something similar "Max aggregate payout of $50,000" or something like that. In Nevada if it is not posted at the table their is no cap.
At my age, a "Life In Prison" sentence is not much of a deterrent.

I suspect some casinos do have a maximum payout limit. I wouldn’t know, because I’ve never had to worry about it. 🤪
If that’s really concern of yours, more power to you. 👍
But if you’re serious about this, you should be hopping the seven rather than betting the any seven. Hopping pays better.
