Part two in my craps series in ready for your enjoyment.

As always, I welcome all feedback. This is the first cut of the video so editing is still open.

The question for the poll is how did you like the video (multiple votes allowed).

I gotta say, nice video. Well explained and very thorough. I do like how you actually had someone roll the dice. Not many videos do that.
As a landscaper you learn a few things. 1. Mushrooms can be as hard as rocks. 2. It's not how fast you mow. But how well you mow fast. 3. Not all grass was created equal.

a little better. Aaron's yawning is off-camera.

at 8:30 you misspeak [?] and say "buy the 6 and 8" instead of "bet the 6 and 8" ... unfortunately if the newbie knows just a little bit, that will confuse them as "buy" has a special meaning as we all know.

Is it possible to do a voice-over and correct that?

He started out the day pretty tired but got very much into it later on. I hope to make an outtakes video where he gets very heated with me over my wording of things. I'm not sure the camera captured it all but there would be hours of it. Overall, he contributed a lot of the terminology and how the bets are supposed to be made and adjudicated.

Good catch! I tried very hard to not use the terms "place" and "buy" in the video but old habits are hard to break. I think Aaron might argue that the terms buy, place, and bet are all interchangeable because the dealer will pay you the odds I stated in the video no matter what term you use. I'd be interested in other comments on that, since Aaron is still on his one-year self suspension.

I am not sure this merits a text correction but I agree with you that I shouldn't have said "buy."

Playing the #4 or #10 needs clarification.

The PLACE bet of #4 and #10 pays 9 to 5.

You are BUYING the #4 and #10 for $20.
BUYING the #4 and #10 pays 2 to 1 (less commission).

Some casinos (Atlantic City) make you pay the commission up front.

As I as saying earlier, here in Vegas we don't really use the buy/place parlance. You just say what numbers you want and the dealers treat is as a place bet on the 5, 6, 8, and 9, and a buy bet on 4 and 10. For small bet amounts under $20, I think they treat it as a place bet on the 4 and 10.

I do agree I should have mentioned that some casinos charge the commission up front. Maybe I'll add some text about that.

I usually recommend Mike's craps series on YouTube exclusively to rookie craps wannabes who have a hard time visualizing the basic concepts from a book...and while not ALL other craps instruction at YouTube are a bald faced con, there's a large enough % that do a player that's trying to understand a complex gamble a huge disservice...Mike's series is spot on.
