Hi All! I'm a new registrant to the forum. I have been a poster on the Craps Forum site, but have been aware of WOV's site for quite a while. I enjoy the tone and tenor of WOV's gambling forums immensely.
I am a craps player first and foremost. I dabble with Video Poker as a change of pace. I live in NY so my play has been restricted by the proximity of casinos. That is now changing as many options are opening up. In fact 4 new 'Las Vegas style' casinos have been approved and will be opened in the next few years.
I look forward to being a contributor to the discussions here.

I should have said 'lack of proximity' to casinos.
NY has Racinos - horse tracks with state run Video Lottery Terminals (VLT's not Slots!) and a variety of electronic games, including craps, roulette and baccarrat.
There are also a number of Indian casinos upstate, which I haven't visited.
The 'Bubble Craps' game and the electronic craps game found at the racinos are interesting, but they have a different feel than live dealer controlled craps. The nearest live craps to me is Mount Airy in PA, Mohegan Sun in CT, and Atlantic City.

Hey BasesLoaded, and welcome to the forums (officially) =P. Sounds like you've lurked here prior, so you should have a good feel for the good/intelligent people on the site. I look forward to hearing your adventures to these new casinos and other shananagains =P.
Playing it correctly means you've already won.

Thanks, Romes! Yes, 'tis true I was a lurker here. I figured Craps Forum was my site, so I'd pledge allegiance there. But I feel that site is in a little bit of a rut. Couple of commenters dominate, and the discussions often devolve quickly. I see fresh stuff here, and the 'round table' ensues!
Many shanagans (sp?) in the past, as I have a lot of miles on the odometer, but still have a lot of pep in the step, so I still look forward to a fun, lucky, bright future!

Hello, BasesLoaded, and welcome to the forum!
If the House lost every hand, they wouldn't deal the game.
