New Member here, just got back from a 4-night stay in Vegas. I played 100% Bubble craps, cataloging the games I played, and the odds. All but 1 casino had the ARUZE Shoot-to-win bubble craps.
New York New York - $2 min, 5x odds
Linq - $3 min, 2x odds
Harrah's - $3 min, 2x odds
Bally's - $3 min, 2x odds
Palms - $2 min, 5x odds
Excalibur - $1 min, 2x odds
Luxor - $2 min, 3x odds
Mandalay Bay - $3 min, 2x odds
Slots O Fun - $2 min, 5x odds
Aria - $5 min, 2x odds
Cosmopolitan - $5 min, 2x odds
Tropicana - $2 min, 2x odds
Binions Horseshoe - $2 min, 5x odds
Downtown Grand - $1 min, 4x odds
Monte Carlo - $3 min, 5x odds(ARUZE) AND $1 min, 2x odds (Interblock)
MGM Grand - $5min, 3x odds
Flamingo - $3min, 2x odds
Cromwell - $3min, 2x odds
I didn't go to all the casinos on the strip or downtown, but here are the casinos I did go to that didn't seem to have Craps games:
NONE AT: Stratosphere, SLS, Orleans, Wynn, Palace Station, Circus Circus, Casino Royale (they used to have one, but renovations have pushed the tables to the place where it was), Fremont, 4 Queens, The D, Golden Nugget, Golden Gate, Plaza, California (they were removing slots to close the place down for renovations), and Main Street Station. None of these casinos had a Craps machine.
Monte Carlo had TWO, one of each type, Inter block and ARUZE.
MGM Grand had 2 ARUZE machines, but they were expensive, and the $5min applied to the Field. All of the others above allowed you to bet $2 or $3 min on the Field, even if the pass line min was $5.
I mostly played Iron Cross, and some don't pass, don't come with odds. After 4 nights, and gambling on every machine listed above, I only ended up down $89. So I consider that a success.
I have been turned on to Bubble craps for the speed with which the play goes, the exact payments, and the ability to sit and receive the free drinks as the waitresses come around. They always seem to service these games more often than the live craps tables.
I play all night long and drink like a camel at a desert oasis. Good times.
So that is 3 bubbles in downtown. Not bad, considering the casinos there are pretty cramped and it is a lot to ask to free up space for a Craps machine. My guess is that they don't clear anywhere close to what a bank of slots would in the same location.
I was also thinking about the Strip/Tropicana intersection. Was disappointed with the MGM bubbles limits, but the Excalibur and NYNY had great minimums and service (Jack and coke, screwdrivers and Corona's for days!). The Tropicana's bubble is brand new, the "glass" of the bubble barely has any scuffs, and the buttons are very sensitive to the shooter. (Sometimes you really have to bang that thing to make it pop)
Plus easy walk from the Excalibur to the Luxor and Mandalay and they also have bubbles, and to the Monte Carlo to try the Inter Block again. I have heard that Ceasars has an inter block, but I haven't been there in a while.
I think some that are afraid to play at a live table enjoy it. Also see many couples, which again may not play a live game.
If the machines were not making money, they wouldn't be there, so your report shows they are working.
you prefer Bubble craps or Interblock's Organic craps?
do you remember which ones gives you points on your players card?
The Four Queen's had an Aruze Bubble Craps as you came in from the East Entrance off the FSE. I'm sure that was there on my November visit.
Also, there used to be an Aruze Bubble Craps that I played at The Plaza. That was maybe 2 years ago.
I also played the Aruze Bubble Craps at Red Rock over Thanksgiving.

And no, I checked every machine I was at. None of them gave points for play. MLife or Total Rewards weren't accepted, nor were any of the independent chains. The only one that might be doing that is the Tropicana's new machine. The sign on that one said something like: "stay tuned for exciting play opportunities to earn points"
But that might have been related to the fact that Tropicana's ownership is changing. Given the slim house advantage on craps play, I can't say I'm surprised.
The comps I earned at Downtown Grand were related to the crazy heater that the whole table was one for more than an hour. It might have helped that their live action craps table ($5 min with 10x odds) was completely empty the whole time.

Dang I might have missed the Four Queens one. I did walk through it. (I was also searching for my Father's preferred slots like Hot Hot Habanero, Gaucho's Gold, VooDoo Brew and Love is in the Air) I didn't see either.
The Plaza's casino is more open, and I'm very sure that their bubble is gone. Though I was glad to see their party pit was offering $5 blackjack with 3:2 odds.
At the LINQ do they service you from the TAG bar if you are playing bubble craps? I sure would like to try some of those microbrews.Quote: BozI always spend a good amount of time drinking at TAG Bar at the Linq and the machine is near and it always seems busy.

I never tried personally, but I asked the bartender at the bar this year and they said yes. I strongly recommend a visit. Their bartop VP isn't horrible by strip standards either. Best game is 7/5 Triple Bonus Plus (97.67%).
4 Queens is $2 passline, 2X odds.
The casino across the street from Golden Nugget (Binions) also has one. It is way in the back - away from everything ---kinda seems out of place, but it is the perfect place to play....quiet, very little traffic. The waitress stops by frequently also.
$2 passline, 10X odds.
The problem with most of these machines is they limit place/lay bets to $25.
The Roulette machine has had that same exact BS sign for what seems like a few years now. So don't hold your breath.Quote: Marduk13The only one that might be doing that is the Tropicana's new machine. SLS I'm almost certain they had a BC last time I was there. I wouldn't swear on it because it's possible they had 2 E-roulette's and I assumed it was BC.
You can have mine.Quote: RogerKintDoes the machine at Binions still give points for all money wagered including odds bets? And ya the cocktail waitress with the Dolly Parton hair brings drinks very fast. At one time bennys bullpen carried cigars that could be purchased with comps.
Quote: AxelWolfYou can have mine.
Your what? Your comps? Your cigar? Or your Dolly Parton hair? :)
I got a bunch of overly expensive cigars and boxes from 4Q and Benny's.Quote: beachbumbabsYour what? Your comps? Your cigar? Or your Dolly Parton hair? :)

I didn't really care what you meant; I just wanted everybody to flash on you in Dolly Parton hair. :D

Do they come with Louie Anderson tickets and comps to Oscar's?

Something tells me that Kentry already does this often.
i've thought since craps dont get an edge like BJ does its not worth playing. though i seen the same guys grinding it in the el cortez for points before they cut off the 4x points. almost none give points. but this new one it seems to be giving points, 1 for every $5, and today is 3x points. $1 min too. u get paid the right odds even if placing the 6 for only $1. is there something i dont know which would make this one beatable? i seen its only double odds, and wont let u bet both pass and dont pass. only one or the other.
as far as VBJ goes, id appreciate someone letting me know where the brand newly installed dealers angels machine is in vegas for BJ. one guy knows but refuses to tell me and i dont know if i really believe him there is a new one somewhere.
Quote: pingclassicAre these bubble machines controlling the dice? I mean are they predestined to hit a certain number? Because I swear sometimes they will land on a number and then just flip over! Haven't played it very much because i love live craps tables but was still curious...
As far as I understand the law, and this is just a non-Lawyer's opinion, it would be adjudicated as an electronic game simulating a physical implement (dice) and, as a result, the representation of the dice must be random. Those are just big dice made out of some light substance, so landing on a corner might well cause them to flip over naturally when it looked like the result would be otherwise.

IANALBIALIOOTI*, but since the dice are real and not virtual, it's not "simulating a physical implement." That being said, I would say that the dice were random, if for no other reason than I don't see a way that the machine could make one die move but not the other if that is what was necessary.
I also assume that, since there has to be some way for the machine to detect the face-up numbers on the dice, it would be able to detect if either die was crooked and possibly shake the base slightly a few times until they were both flat.
