Edit: I meant Caesars Entertainment. The Harrahs name hasn't been around since 2010.
Quote: nickolay411If a company like Harrah's established a pro tour for craps would you bother trying your throw at the open qualifiers? Or maybe sit back and watch the tour on tv or online?

There is a Harrah's in Laughlin.
They also have craps tourneys, I would watch some on TV, but I don't like crowds.
Is someone taking wagers on your next Soopoo challenge, whats the over/under?
Like I said I'll be arriving in Vegas August 21st and should have most of the day free. If anyone is gonna be in Vegas , we can make a wager. Maybe
Demango and petroglyph, you guys will join? I am curious to play with both of you.
Quote: DeMangoYou can't be serious. If you really are a DI, your main goal would be to STFU and ply your trade. You don't wave a red flag in front of a bull.
Why is it that craps would be the only event that an (alleged) advantage player would avoid and "STFU"? Card counters play blackjack tournaments, poker geniuses play poker tournaments, people that think they can time the wheel or predict quarters of the wheel play roulette tournaments. Sounds like just another excuse to not prove their is no such thing.

I'm still here. Plying my trade in Buffalo. Unfortunately it looks like I won't make it out to Vegas until the end of October. Arrive October 28. You KNOW I'll be ready to wager against anyone who says they can control the dice..... Lose 100 pounds (I lost that one!).... clock that wheel....

well, first "STFU" is a bit out of line on a-presumably-give and take public forum...but unfortunately you will see it
...but for the rest of it, 'Core, you are a bit off...craps is a game of fixed--static--probabilities...blackjack is not such a game and with skill has been demonstrated--proven--that it can be beaten...no such replicable evidence has been provided for craps (nor will there ever be: proof of DI under casino conditions, while having some practical---tho not insurmountable---difficulties is in no one's vested interest, lest we might have seen, but we haven't, even just as little as the attempt in over a century of debate)...poker too not only has dynamic probabilities but a significantly large element of skill, such that some very publicly make a professional living at it...as for roulette, well, good luck with that...
but mainly no "excuse" is needed whatsoever for not trying to prove a negative...the onus is not on the disbelievers to prove that something cannot be done but rather on the proponents to offer positive evidence that something can be done...prove to me that I'm not gonna jump out that window...
My local joint in rural wisconsin has held periodic craps tournaments, although they have'nt been offered at all this year, suggesting perhaps a lack of popularity...
