First I want to say it an excellent property. I typically stay at the Cosmo and Aria and I found the property to be competitive if not superior (Very different).
OK for the craps players
- Standard 3-4-5 max odds
- Field Bet Pays Double on 2 and 12
- The fun part.. $10 tables are standard (even at peak times Friday and Saturday nights) and even in middle of Friday night there was a $5 table open (vs Cosmo which only had $25 dollar tables)
Other tables... I think there are mix of 3/2 and 6/5 blackjack tables
Highly recommended Giada's (you get preferred bookings for dinner as a guest... book in advance as it is not the easiest table to get in Vegas). Also highly recommend "Bound" the bar downstairs.
Please note, this is a small, boutique hotel. I would not recommended for groups with children or who require "quiet" environment. With the nightclub in the hotel, there is always a low level "buzz" to the place (even in your room to extent... but I didn't find it off putting at all). There's a fun energy to the place.
Pros
- Small hotel, very personalized service
- Giada's and bars are top notch (they compete toe to toe with any of the MGM comparables)
- Excellent minimums on craps tables
- I hear Drai's (the nightclub) is excellent but just didn't have time to hit that (I hear hotel guests get preferred access)
Cons
- Not the most quiet place (Its literally in the center of the strip, and it's roof is a nightclub)... it's certainly not loud but its not the center of tranquility either
- If I had kids, I would go another direction
- Only one restaurant (but not a big deal, its next to Caesar's and Bellagio)... and it's an incredible restaurant
I think this is my new go to place. I like the mix of low table minimums, top notch service and excellent food/drink.

Most were very attractive and they were from foreign countries they were very nice and personable.Quote: wilbsmittCocktail service at the craps table is superb.
I even remember one was talking with me and BBB for a while. and then the rest of the group.
When I was there last October they had ALLLL 6/5 blackjack. Unless there was another pit I missed, or it was high limit room only (didn't see a high limit room but I didn't do too thorough of a search), I didn't catch any 3/2. Clearly this could have changed in 7 months though =p. The place did look pretty new and flashy and I can confirm had a good party/fun vibe to it.

I can also concur that drink service is excellent, the drinks were actually flowing way too easily (Based on my Saturday hangover lol).
The servers / dealers are also excellent all around.
You don't need to be specific with buyins, win, loss, etc. but how were the tables? Any good rolls? I am fairly certain you did not venture to the dark side, so if they were cold, I could see a rough go. Inquiring minds want to know........
Quote: RaleighCrapsSince you are relatively new to the forum you may not realize that you are not allowed to talk about a Vegas trip report, and then not include information on how your craps sessions went!

Background ... the girlfriend lives in Phoenix, and we decided to meet up in Vegas at the last second.
Of course... Overall the trip was up and down for me. The first night (Friday) was a rough one for me from a gambling standpoint (but a great one from an overall fun standpoint). The good news was the next day, we went to Lunch at Caesar's (Bobby Flay's Mesa... Excellent by the way) and on way back we stopped by Bellagio. The girlfriend (typically she only plays blackjack) wanted to learn craps (finally). Basically we both bought in for $500 (at $10 table), walked immediately into a one hot roller(~40 minute roll) and went up $1500 each. Which zeroed my losses for trip and left her up $1500. Her first wins of a black ($100), purple ($500) and yellow chip ($1000). She couldn't believe how quickly it happened. (Now only if I knew about the tall, small and all bet on MGM tables... oh well, live and learn). [One more advantage to the Cromwell... your so close to so many other CET/MGM properties (tons of options).
Overall, a very good trip. CET did a great job hosting.
But I have also had the other side. Bet $15 on the A/S/T and shooter rolls come out 7. Down goes the bet. Put it back up for $15 more. Shooter rolls another come out winner 7. Put another $15 back up. SOB, shooter throws ANOTHER 7 winner. Ouch. Down 45 and nothing has happened.
Still the best side bet I have seen for craps. We have got to get down to Beau Rivage one of these days! I miss playing there.
Quote: RaleighCrapsThe Small Tall All bet is a great bet. I first found it at Beau Rivage in Biloxi. Every trip I have been there since, I have been paid on that bet. On one trip I got paid on the first roller of my first session. Up $1225 on the first shooter!

I would think a WoV South could be put together for Beau Rivage/Harrah's Gulf Coast, don't you? I'd certainly be up for it.
Looks like the below appeared about a month ago.
