This is terrible forum ettiquette.
HEY! HAY YOU GUYS! YOU KNOW THAT OTHER THREAD YOU IGNORED BECAUSE YOU DIDN'T CARE ABOUT IT?!! HERE'S ANOTHER ONE TO POINT YOU OVER THERE!!!!
Anyone who wants to vote, is going to vote, in the other thread.
I don't know if you broke a rule or not. But you probably did.
You should check them out.
Here are the rules.
I didn't post the same message twice. I posted the poll and message once, then I placed a message where people could find the poll, on a forum category of which readers find the poll topic relating to craps interesting. The categories of the postings fit into both categories. There should be a way to post in multiple locations if they directly relate to both. Not just simply to post twice, but to notify different groups of people in which the topic pertains to both groups. In my case the topic related to both Craps and a new game....
This would have ended the arguments.Quote: allinriverkingmy apologies, I've seen several threads that direct people to other threads, was in hurry before heading out to work to post a link. I just thought maybe some people read the games threads that fits their fancy, didn't want a craps player to miss it, if they don't frequent the game inventor's corner.

I'm not looking for argument, just maybe a rule change that a thread that relates to more than one topic can be placed in categories that fit topic.. Lets say a new Gay themed slot machine comes out, people interested in new games, people interested in slot machines and people interested in Gay themed products all may find the thread interesting, therefore that topic should be allowed posting in all categories that pertain to the topic.. that's all..

That won't be happening. And, you may not think you're arguing, but the last 2 posts read like it. You were better off stopping where AxelWolf noted before.

thanksQuote: spadeknightThe way you can do this without getting in trouble is by asking people to click on your name and check out your posts. dont direct them to a specific post just ask them if they would be interested in clicking on your name and providing "feedback about your subjects". No way your going to get anyone pissed by merely asking people to click on your name. Nothing in the rules says you cant ask members to click on your name. problem solved. your welcome.

For what it's worth, as a member in good standing for over 4 1/2 years, you get a pass from me. Oh, it's worth absolutely nothing.
Don't let 'em get you on a technicality next time.

I didn't think I was doing anything shady or sneaky, I haven't read the rules in over 4 years, had I thought it was wrong I actually wouldn't of done it, not the rebel type... thanks anyway..
Although there are all the categories for all kinds of topics, I, and a lot of other players, use the "Recent posts" link to see all the new stuff, regardless of what category it's in.

I didn't think you were doing anything shady or sneaky either, riverking. Not to worry; now you know. Carry on.
