I get 2 comp'd tix on the junket flight and a room for the 4 day junket. I will play craps about 8 hours a day, or roughly 24 hrs over the trip. I get $300 a month in free chips (but now they split it into $150 first 1/2 of month and $150 second half, so I try to travel over the 15th and 16th to get advantage of the full amount.
I generally average between $110 and $200 average bet (odds not included for their 10x game). PL bet with 3x-10x odds and Place/Buy bets. Occasionally a hardway and/or field bet.
Along with the room, I will usually rack up $150-$200 in comp dollars for the 4 days. I almost never have to pay for any of the meals we have charged to the room. On our last trip, over a year ago, I had built up too many comp dollars, so my wife and I did a couples massage, which was awesome.
Overall, my comps at BR have been much better (and probably more consistent) than anything I have been getting at CET.
I have tried playing the MGM properties in Vegas, but they have not seemed too interested in my play. To be fair though, I have not invested the 4 hours and the $1500 buy in, so we are in a chicken-and-egg scenario. I won't give them play without knowing how I will be comp'd, and they won't comp me until they see solid play. So BR comes out the winner.
Yes, they are very good ... and don't seem to have too many ups and downs in their policies the way other casinos often do.Quote: RaleighCrapsI get great comps at Beau Rivage in Biloxi.
I had junket plane offers but by the time I called the 800 number all they would say is Sold Out...I got the card in Saturday's mail and called Monday morning. I don't remember clearly who it was offering the junket to Biloxi. I think it may have been CET. Don't know.

Casinos usually do want to SEE your action first, but usually a casino will indicate what they would probably do if they see such action. They will not commit themselves to comping you but should say something like "that sort of action frequently gets "xxxxx" for the player". No guarantee that it will get you anything even if you exceed that action, but its an "indication" and that is usually what a host will give you the first time. After they have seen your actual ACTION they are more willing to make commitments for future trips.
As to the Original Poster.... I've never heard of that particular casino, but if they treat you well, then be happy with them and go where your are appreciated as long as you remember that "comps" are really just "sweeteners"... they are not the full meal!
I always do. I play to win and focus on that first and foremost. I don't fluctuate or extend my play to try and get a comp. But I also believe there should be some consistency in how you're treated as a player. The Wynn has been all over the map and very inconsistent. Mont Bleu bought out the old Caesars Tahoe.

Yeah, and only find out about it afterwards.Quote: bodyforlifeYeah, it's amazing isn't it Moe? You go from high roller to vagrant from that one rule change.
If I happened to be at the three and a half hour mark, I'd stay until I was at the four hour mark for the comp rating. Some would walk if they were tired or their luck had changed or they had reached a loss limit. I'm not going to say which is "right" to do, but its good that we at least know how the casino will react as far as comps go. What weight we give to that can differ. Its the knowledge of it that is important.
for enough money I will tell you the best place to play, they rate your odds and give you crazy free crap.Quote: bodyforlifeI typically play in Vegas and Tahoe. I think the worst by far is Caesars Entertainment. Although I didn't play the typical four hours they like to see, the last time I was there I had an average bet of $256 for roughly 90 minutes. For that I received $2 comp credit (I kid you not). In addition, Wynn has acted like Prima Donna's lately. They don't count the odds wager, but the last time I was there, I had an average wager of $90 but played over 12 hours. My reward was an offer of the market rate on rooms the last time I tried to book them (really pissed me off they wouldn't even offer casino rate). I had received some offers from Palazzo/Venetian for comps, but lately it's simply a discounted rate of $109. The best I have ever seen is Mont Bleu in Tahoe (run by the Tropicana group). I never pay for a room there and they now give me suites, they typically give me between $50 and $75 of comp chips (not match play), I have never paid for any food, get free tickets to any entertainment, and entries into all their slot tournaments. Admittedly, they do have the dumbest craps players I have ever seen, but many times I can find a time when there aren't a lot of people playing. So what's your favorite?
Silverton has got to be one of the best places to play. They rate your odds and give you cashback and tons of free food. But you can wear out your welcome and get no-comped liked AHigh.Quote: AxelWolffor enough money I will tell you the best place to play, they rate your odds and give you crazy free crap.
How's that for free advice? :)
Actually its pretty good. I don't know anything AceHigh or getting No-Comped, but even in a Sweat The Money casino you really have to do something pretty noticeable in order to get things to the level of retaliation by the casino. I'm seen some pretty loud, drunken and rude behavior and foul language even when females were present... and still these people don't get banned or told no comps. Oh, a few get 86'd on alcohol ... but thats about it. If a casino really marks your card as NoComp, one thing is certain: You've earned it!!Quote: teddysSilverton has got to be one of the best places to play. They are comping me really well now but they are beating me so far this year. I was beating them up until about 2 weeks or so ago. They still have the best comps for craps play by a mile.
lies all lies brt im not calling you a lier Im sure they do have good comps 4 crappers just not the best by a mile.Quote: AhighThey still have the best comps for craps play by a mile.

That came our wrong. What I mean to say is if you get comp'd at the buffet, you'll crap for miles on the trip back home.
good free advice I like how you tried to turn this in to a lets bash Ahigh thread however.Quote: teddysSilverton has got to be one of the best places to play. They rate your odds and give you cashback and tons of free food. But you can wear out your welcome and get no-comped liked AHigh.

10:1 nobody argues that point, and I've never eaten that buffet.
