3/4/5x odds, $10min
Thx to MathExtremist's post about the Golden Ratio press (~62%), I increased my pressing strategy from 25% to doing Fibonacci #s.
https://wizardofvegas.com/forum/gambling/craps/9431-craps-optimum-pressing-strategy/#post138892
Flat bet = $10, 16,25,40,65,etc
odds = max
Passline + continuous come. After I hit 4 #s, I start pressing.
When I start pressing, every time I hit a #, I Place or Buy that # an amount equivalent to the increase of the next flat bet.
ie: going from $10 to $16 (plus odds) is putting $36 more on the table. From $10 to $25 it's $90, etc.
So one of the #s I have on the table is the 6 and a 6 rolls.
I now Place $36 on the 6. it hits again and I now have a Place bet of $90 on the 6 (in addition to the $10flat/$50odds).
so the 6 keeps hitting, and I'm at Place = $498 (max). I cant do $500 since the payout isn't an even amount.
It hits at $498! so I place the 8 to ~$250. after a few other #s roll, the 8 hits. I press the place to $498.
then the 7 came. :(
I think I won around $1500 on that roll, and up $1000 in that session. (I was down a little when the hot roll started.)
By using the Golden Ratio press, I think I won more $ than if I used my old 25% pressing strategy?

There is no sweeter feeling in craps than when you have a big bet on a Buy or Place bet and it hits.
Nice payouts on those hits!
Interesting press on the 8, ~$250 to $498. I assume it was $252, paying $294.
So $246 went to the press, and $48 went into the rail.
That is certainly an aggressive pressing strategy.

yeah, it was a heat of the moment impulse press. discipline went out the window. wanted to max it.
It would have been a great feeling if it hit though.
but the 7 showed, of course...

Horseshoe at Council Bluffs, Iowa has 100 times craps. Bets looked weird, 5 on a pass line with 300-400 behind. When things turned in players's favor, those guys did good. I wonder if house got any edge?
