I dont have much use for betting systems, since any combination of bets tends to increase
the house advantage because each bet carries a house advantage.
I have looked at a couple in practice and last weekend i tried one at the casino. The reason
i tried it was because it was only 1 bet and also because i was going to play 2 days so i had
some time to burn on the table.
The general idea is that a 3 or 11 should come up 1 time in every 18 rolls, 2 ways to make each out of
36 rolls. The system starts at 20 rolls without a 3 or a 11 which ever you pick and makes a $1 each time it
does not hit, until it hits increasing each bet by $1.
This appears
innocent enough since we see lots of 11 and 3's. However it is not as innocent as it appears. Even starting
with a $1 bet, you better have money in your pockets and you better be committed to the outcome.
I basically played 5 hands over the weekend.
the number of rolls for each before hitting was
14 plus waiting 20 rolls
16 "
19 "
31 "
36 "
The 31 i had $476 into the bet before hitting and the 36 i had $646 into the bet.
Over-all i made $289 on the 5 bets. Sounds good but you better make sure the table limits
are over $600 on a payout or you could be screwed.
Interestingly enough, all 5 hands that qualified with 20 rolls before a hit on 11 or 3, you could have
waited 30 rolls and still been fine. If i had waited 30 rolls before starting the betting , i would have
made $463 and had a lot less worry.
The good thing about this is you have to bet anything unless the 3 or 11 qualfies for your guidelines,
you decide when to bet , or you can wait 30 rolls, that will
mean you may make fewer bets, but they will be less taxing.
I am sure i will use this again, since i made money and also with the 3-v set, a 5/6 or 2/1 are
axis rolls.

If you stay on the sidelines waiting for 20 rolls w/o a 3 or 11, you bet less so you lose less.

Waiting any number of rolls for anything is simply buying into the "gambler's fallacy", but of course it does lessen the exposure of your money to the table. At just under a 32% chance you'll ever get to a twenty-count, you could conceivably spend the whole evening at the table and never make a bet. Sounds like a real entertaining evening.

Now think about your statement.... a bet for those that want to gamble, that they dont make very often
and one using general odds, that favors them when ever they do make it ....

my basis for betting anything that is supposed to happen once every x times is 2.5 times x. So for the 3 or 11, since they are supposed to hit once every 18 rolls, you should wait 45 rolls before betting. As you showed, 2 of those series were in excess of 50 rolls.
Since you are betting both, there's a 1 in 9 chance of either hitting. So you should wait 22.5 (you choose - 22 or 23) and then bet $1 on both. Since the payout will be $15 - $1 for a hit times the amount of the bet, you don't have to increase by $1 for each no-hit. You can set up a pre-determined written schedule of bets for when you start. Depending on the limits, the problem with any type of Martingale system is that you may hit the limits before you finally hit...
You may want to include the 2 and 12 and bet like this, $4 on the Any Craps (7-1 payout) and $2 on 11 (pays 15-1). Hit a crap or 11 and the payout is $26. There's a 1 in 6 chance any one of these hits so wait 15 rolls (2.5 times 6) with no 2,3,11,12 before betting and set up a follow up bet schedule. Good Luck.

It's only fakery if you sell your winning system. Be right back, have to go chart a BJ dealer.
