That would be like Siskel and Ebert going to a movie screening and saying "yes they made a movie" without reviewing the content.
Of course, podcasts would be even better...
Quote: Mission146No problem, and I see your point with wanting clarification on shooting the same way that Dominator does, but as far as the general dice influence goes, there are other threads for that.
There were other points as well, but that was the "new one."
seriously ? Come on If he can take it and dish it then we don't need to be concerned. This is not a G rated message board. If your offended by this then...... I don't know what to say It may offend you. Then again weren't people offended by married couples sleeping in the same bed at one time?Quote: Mikey75Why have the personal profanity laced attacks on this board not gotten someone banned already???? I love coming here and love the info shared on this board I could do without the personal attack and profanity being posted.
Quote: Mikey75It would be better if we could all act like adults and discuss issues without it breaking down into personal attacks.
I "get" what you are saying, but then again, aren't we basically the sum and substance of our ideas?
Otherwise we're just animated bags of meat.
I finally had a chance to listen to the whole thing while playing The Wizard's Mississippi Stud game. Anyway, great stuff and cool story about the boxcars, you know how to keep an audience. You also have a surprisingly great voice for radio, I don't know why, but having seen pictures of you, I didn't expect your voice to sound like that.
Quote: Mission146Great interview, Aaron!

Yeah, there are four sections, and the one on the you tube video is the most recent for anyone who was unsure. The first interview is in three sections below the you tube video.
That story of the boxcars lends credibility to the biased dice crew as much as "luck trumps all," BTW. And that is a true story. One of the few advantages of playing as much as I do is that I do get to witness some pretty unlikely stuff. That was a doozie!
The Cosmopolitan has a history of inexperienced gamblers betting huge amounts of money and getting lucky (often with great class I might add) more than any other place.
I've seen classy gamblers. I've seen whales. And I've seen lucky wins on stupid bets. But the Cosmo seems to have all three in one place. Maybe one of the most fun places to watch craps action.
Thanks for the feedback on the interviews (there are two, and the boxcar story is from the first interview that was quite a long time ago).

How's that for a short answer? At least on the topics I participate in. They claim it's a discussion, but often from my perspective, it's more like an attack. Everyone in that list is, from my view, guilty of making false claims in the process of trying to dilute or discredit what I am sharing. How else could it be perceived when false statements are made to counter what I am offering in terms of information and research related to the game of craps. I'm not selling anything and I have no financial incentive to misrepresent what I am doing, yet these people continue to jump all over me. I'm sure there's a few more I'm leaving out, but that's my short answer for your question, Mikey. It's really just a couple of people...
The list is much, much, much longer than that for people that don't believe you have any control on your shots. Probably 10 that say your don't to every 1 that thinks you do. You've been video taped and had people with you (Dan recently) when you have not done all that well. Have you ever had anyone with you that can verify that you've made these hundreds/thousands of dollars during that session?
Quote: Mission146I'm going to agree, though I hesitate to lock this thread. I'm going to suggest that we take the general dice influence conversation to one of the already established and active threads for that topic, and let's try to use the topic specifically for comments/questions related to AHigh's interview without any of the argumentative stuff.
I'm somewhat tempted to move those dice influence threads to the Religion section of the Forum, I've seen less heated discussions between Atheists and devout Baptists!
Is there a section for conspiracies or voodoo?

20 samples means nothing! But even in those 20 rolls that "I didn't do well" all of them but one roll was a seven AND I made a profit for every session at that table that day!
How is that not doing well? My bets were more aggressive than the roll because the bet units were virtually MEANINGLESS as I knew Dan was coming up and it would have been awkward to have $3,000 on the rail when he walked up. I only bet big at empty tables. I have talked about this, ya know. But I was pressing $3 initial odds into odds bets from a $20 buy-in and was up to $100 when I sevened out. I still made a profit during that session beyond my expected edge per roll.
As usual, you just make up your mind about how well I was doing based on what Dan saw of not even a complete roll! Plus, I profited from the session where, as you say, I didn't do well!
Yeah, I have losses! In fact, I lost the $200 I made and my bankroll is down $200 since I met with Dan. I have gone up and down four figures four times since then too.
But extrapolating ANY of that to my theoretical edge is total bullshit as the total number of rolls I have made and bet on since I met with Dan is probably 1000 rolls and not even enough to SHOW an edge even at 1000 rolls(!!!!)
You guys who think "oh you didn't do well and that proves you don't have an edge" are writing stuff that is misleading only the most inept mathematics guys, and it's obviously just a slander and nothing more!!!

Yes. I will see but maybe I can even interview a player on video about this morning's roll where we both won four figures on a single roll where I rolled a four point fire. Would that be sufficient? I have no idea if they would allow me to interview them, but this happened this morning at about 3 to 4 am at the Plaza on a 345x odds table where I was just doing max odds with $5 bets and I made over $1,000 on my roll, took all my bets down to focus on the other player's bets and they made another $1,200 after I stopped betting!
IE: We both profited over $1,000 each on a single roll of mine on a 345x table just a few hours ago.
We even discussed this whole thing about how I only bet large at an empty table. She also was witness to my being annoyed by other people who kept interrupting my rolls and distracting me. So she saw the difference in how well I rolled when I was paying more attention to just rolling the dice (EG: not betting and not being distracted) as well as other things that people on here laugh about. IE: she witnessed it very clearly. I called several specific shots and made them too .. specifically to make progress on her fire bet after I was done betting.
She just got married a few days ago just like me, and she lives in the same neighborhood as I do. I'm hoping Kelly and I get to be friends with them as we all enjoy playing craps.

I talked to her and she sounded interested to follow up with what I'm doing, so we'll see how it goes.
Now, a claim that the player is actually ahead in negative expectation gaming, in a zone exceeding 3 SDs, that deserves some skepticism. [I'm not saying Aaron has made such a claim] Even then, there probably isn't much reason to say much; unverifiable goes both ways, and "impossible" can't be asserted.
I earnestly desire to have some credibility, and yes sometimes I do make what I think are obvious jokes that people infer as me ruining my credibility. But I had two four point fire bets at two casinos in two hours and my bankroll went DOWN first and back UP four figures making minimum bets and maximum odds TWICE. I still had wins for the night though. I lost $400 at lunch yesterday at Red Rock. I have never had anything but luck there (both good and bad, but more bad than good). I made $240 at Golden Nugget and I made $65 at the California Casino.
In any case, my bankroll hasn't moved any significant amount in total since I met with Dan the other night.
