Adding full odds to another number by using don't come. Example 10 on no pass 5x. I want to increse my bet. Go to 20 with full 5x odds. Or should I keep it at 10 with full odds and add don't come with full odds after the point is declared?

are you asking, which is better:

A. $10 on don't pass with full odds, and then once point is established, $10 on don't come with full odds,

or

B. $20 on don't pass with full odds from the beginning?

It's very close, but A is better because you will be making the second $10 bet less often due to losing or winning on the come-out roll.

It's unclear, but I think it's possible he's actually asking about adding $10 to his DP bet and then increasing the odds. This is not allowed as once the point is established, the DP bet is a favorite to win - adding to it is "capping" and the casino won't allow you to do it.

If you are asking what sodawater inferred, he is correct, it's very close.

You get a bit more variance with the $20 DP, 5X odds. OTOH, you will bet less the other way, because you only get to make a DC bet 2/3 of the time; this reduces your expected loss a bit.
