I plan on playing a double deck game with good rules
s17 das da2
starting house edge .19%
it is possible to get this to 0.00% or a tiny bit in my favor using flat betting
My main goal is just to get comps and play a break even game with no chance of being barred

You can never overcome the house edge by flat betting, you can only get lucky. Starting with a low HA game is a great way to start. If you want to stay under the radar and spread only 1-4 or 1-5, with essentially a 0% HA game, try the Wiz's A5 count on his other site. Easy to learn, with a low spread, you can play break even. That or a basic KO count with a 1-5 spread can give you a small edge.

I believe the "Zen Count" is more accurate than these as it is a muilt level balanced count ( with strat chages table)
1-4 might be to much of a spread I plan to plan allot of hours over the course of a weekend and am mostly concerend with comps
what about playing 2 hands for 2 quarters each to start with
2 hands for 2 quarters when the count is neg
and 1 black when count is pos
This would be equal to 1-1.5 bet spread while playing head up correct?
and would look like flat betting to the pit

Back in the 1990s I used the Advanced Omega II count when playing single deck games with great penetration and good rules.
I believe with this count alone it is possible to beat such a game flat betting.
However, increases in PA is commensurate with increases in bet size.
Back then, depending on the casino, I could get away with a spread of 1 to 4 units.

I said I used to play Blackjack in the 1990s when single decks were still beatable. If you had read my thread you would know this.
Also, if you take the time to investigate my assertion that AOII can beat a sd game with flat betting then you might actually learn something valuable.
These days I now concentrate on precision shooting (5%-10% edge); 3 Card Poker AP vs. flashing dealers (3.48%); and hustling cards in the poker room.
I've really had enough of all the negativity going on here within this site.
The general attitude is intolerable.
Gamble as you wish -- it's your money. I'll be going to another site.
Your loss, not mine.

Read Bryce Carlson, Blackjack for Blood.
Omega II
2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 A
1 1 2 2 2 1 0 -1 -2 -2(S)
AOII betting correlation without Ace Side Count: 0.92
Playing Efficiency: 0.67.
AOII with Ace Side Count: 0.99
The Zen Count is fine, but then again, so is Hi-Lo Lite.

My mistake: a typo
Tens and Faces are -2 and the Ace should read 0 and counted on the side.
