Virtual Blackjack was recently introduced at some So FL racetracks. The machines state that there is a 6 deck shoe that is shuffled after 2/3 of the shoe is dealt. There is no visual indication that shufflung is taking place. Is there effective strategy for Virtual Blackjack? You can double on anything and split 1 time. Dealer stands on 17.
Thanks

For the 6-deck S17 shufflemaster virtual game, The house edge is 0.39 if the dealer takes a hole card (most likely) and 0.5 if she does not.
For the proper basic strategy for the hole card game, simply use the main strategy on the wizardofodds blackjack pages.
If it is a no-hole-card game, open this link and then scroll to the 'UK blackjack' strategy: https://wizardofodds.com/blackjack/strategy/european.html

Ah you were quick, as you can see I edited my post to make it a bit clearer as I realized I didn't need to know the BJ payout (it is always 3:2 for the 6-deck games) but you provided the missing info anyway. House edge of that game is 0.39 percent. Here is the exact link to the strategy chart you need:
https://wizardofodds.com/blackjack/strategy/4deck.html (use the one on the left)
As you can see this is the exact same chart as the one on the main blackjack page.
If this game offers cashback like a slot machine, the house advantage will be reduced.

Usually only women tell me i'm quick. Thans for the response. The fact that I can't actually tell when the decks are being shuffled have any effect on the strategy?

You would only need to know when a shuffle was taking place if you were trying to count the cards. The shuffle doesnt have any effect on the correct play for non card counters.

My personal strategy for Virtual Blackjack is to play at a live dealer table in a nearby casino where the action is likely to be slower than the Virtual Machine's action. Although I've heard that the BJ on the South Florida's Big M casino boat is dealt so fast that a player would be better off on a Virtual Blackjack machine.Quote: comptuterVirtual Blackjack was recently introduced at some So FL racetracks.

The SeaEscape casino boat closed down about a year ago. The So FL casinos are few and far apart. The only LIVE BJ is at the HardRock 20 miles away. I played once at the Virtual machine and the pace was slow to medium.
