Okay, I know how much you guys love my videos so the next THREE are ready for you. YouTube has a maximum 15 minute rule, so we had to break this one into three parts.

How to play blackjack: part 1, part 2, part 3.

Hey Wiz,
How is it that your name is misspelled on these videos!?

I think the audio could be slightly better. I don't remember a whirring background noise in some of the other videos. (Edit: This is a bit nitpicky)

Great video, on part 1 now. Glad to hear basic etiquette being emphasized to begin with.

On part 2. Now.

I definitely would still like to see a top down view of the table rather than just a side view.

There are way too many shots of the cards and chips and views of the table in these videos, and not near enough close ups of Angela.

I'm sure I saw the grey haired guy with the glasses
pocket a couple green chips. You should pay the
actors more.

I applaud showing all the etiquette issues!!

Title it The Etiquette and Rules of Blackjack so people know its more oriented to the mechanics rather than the math.

Don't use Corner Cut decks. We all know those come from prison labor and are cut so they can never be used in a casino again.

Do use a second camera for overheads. Stack the deck so as to get the cards that you want, it saves time.

I learned during one of those videos that Surrender was most valuable when player has 16 and Dealer's Up card is a 10, so rather than always Splitting 8s its probably better to Surrender if allowed and also to surrender if allowed on any two cards that total 16, particularly if the dealer's up card is 10.

I find the problem is remembering the rules and applying them so I try to play an abbreviated basic strategy wherein I don't even know if surrender is allowed.

I hadn't had a chance to watch yet, but were these shot at the same time as the others? I.E. Before you had a chance to implement any of the changes suggested as a reaction to the other videos?

I'm seeing some of the same comments...

Either you're seeing things, or that was one terrible actor. He's supposed to be playing the part of PaiGowDan - and we all know Dan would NEVER swipe chips....

Bob, good one!

You should still split eights against a 10. What I meant was split 10+6 or 9+7 against a 10. There is a separate strategy when splitting is possible.

Yes. They were all made in two days last year. So you don't need to repeat the usual criticisms.

On a positive note, these are by far, in my opinion, the best gambling videos out there. If not the best, than in the top 2%.

I like these videos. There are plenty of videos that explain the basic rules but you explained the proper etiquette as well which is frankly as important as knowing the rules of the game.

Mr Wizard,

You refer to a video where you would be discussing strategy - but I can't find one. Has it been made yet?

That was Dan? I pictured Dan much stockier, with a look
that terrifies AP's when he finally graduates to the pit..

That was obviously an actor. Dan Lubin usually wears a hat or cap so that his horns do not scare off any prospective players.

That one should be next. It still needs to be edited.

I certainly don't agree with Dan's opinions on advantage play, or in the "friendly bet dispute" thread, but he is among the nicest people I know.

If I put together a video out of outtakes you can see Angela and Dan get into it over the ethics of hole carding.
