Here is how it happened:
4 decks
6 players plus dealer (of course)
Player has JJ
Splits against a dealer 10 upcard (dummy up and deal, don't ask)
Gets a J
Re-splits
Gets a J
Resplits
Gets a J!
Eventually gets one more J in the resplit hands, for a total of 5 of the 16 in the deck by the time the hand is over.
What are the odds on this? The cards, I mean. Odds of getting at least one player this oblivious to basic strategy at a table once or more a night I know. (99.99999999<getting one such player<100.00)
