I am going to Vegas next month and I want to brush up on my blackjack basic strategy prior to going. Does anyone know of a good downloadable blackjack simulator (prefer one that is not too expensive) that I can purchase.
I like the one the Wizard provides but I want something that can really test me (i.e. tell me at the end of a session how poorly or well I did). Thanks for the help in advance.

I doubt this is what you are after, but it's pretty good, and free:

Thank you Dorothy. I did check out www.hitorstand.net and it was a lot of fun. However, I am looking for something a bit more advanced then that. I am not interested in learning card counting, just perfecting my basic strategy.

Casino Verite probably offers more than you need, but is great for card counting purposes. I agree there should be something more robust for basic strategy players. Maybe there is, but I don't know about it.

Phil: I'm pretty sure that's illegal too.
Alan: Yeah, maybe after 9/11, where everybody got so sensitive. Thanks a lot, bin Laden.

I just puchased a copy of Casino Verite, and while expensive ($95 for the full version) it is excellent! It is really designed to help card counters, which I am not, but something I would definately suggest to others.

I like blackjack counter from deepnet technologies. It is relatively cheap, comes with a PDA (palm and windows mobile) version for your phone, and they have different levels of product you can by. I got "counter" because I felt it was the best value, and I wanted to practice counting.
