Is it worth it ?? Around 200 bucks round trip for cab . To play what some consider the best BJ in LV , according to the ( LVBJS).

.13 HE, sounds good !!! But is it worth 2 benjis , I am staying on the strip.

Could hit the tez for a .30 HE, what do you think ?

By the way my flight to wendover got cancelled :(, so we booked a flight to LV this AM last min.

Just looking for the best tables !!

Any input much appreciated !!:)

You can probably find a limo/car-for-hire for much less than the cab fare. Or maybe you could hitch with a hoover dam tour?

The Hacienda is fun and interesting, but unless you're betting huge you won't recoup the cost of the trek.

Definitely not worth it. The .13% is not enough to drive out there. That said, if you are going to the Hoover Dam, it is a fun, and like you said, a good game.

I will be submitting a review of the Hacienda to the Wizard shortly.

Don't get hung up on house edge. Are you counting? Penetration is far more important.

Couldn't agree more. Lotsa penetration would be the highlight of my day.

A $2 BJ wouldn't be bad either.

No. Now if it were a trip across The Strip or a trip across town in a limousine.. but that distance? Forget the 200.00... just the TIME is worth more at a "worse" table on the strip.

How long will it take you to lose 200.00 at decent rules? So much are you really saving by spending the 200.00 to get to some supposedly ultimate rules? And what if they ban you once you get there because you are winning?

Rent a car for the day, go see the new bridge above the dam, and stop in Boulder. Play at the Hacienda. It would be worth it. It's about 25 miles by cab. That's insane.

If you are a counting forget about it. While I do not play BJ, I do play craps and they took the dice away from me the last time I was in there. I was I only player on the table the suit told me I could set the dice, but had to do it faster. I stop setting the dice and she told me I was still taking to long to shoot!

I pride my self on how long it takes me to set the dice. I can set them and shoot them faster that anybody that is just picking up the dice and shaking them, and then throwing them down the table!

In other words, there was no reason even to say anything to me about how long it took me to set the dice. Besides the fact I was the only player. I had just stopped to use the rest room, and when I saw there was no one on the table decided to shoot a little.

The problem I had with the thing was I wasn't even betting big! I just wanted to see how the table was for shooting on!

The whole thing was just the suits way of stopping me from shooting. They gave me all the bets back, I had on the table, and told me good-bye! Talk about sweating the money; it was down right funny.
Note, all my post start with this is just my opinion...! You do good brada ..! superrick Winning comes from knowledge and skill when your betting and not reading fiction http://procraps4u2.myfanforum.org/index.php ...

What about those Boulder Dam tours, the tour buses always stop at the Hacienda?

See that is the real problem with these quaint out-of-the-way casinos that have some "special offer" or "special rules". Yeah, the blackjack rules may indeed be the best in the entire state, but their primary rule is you can't play here. Or atleast their primary rule is you can't win here. If you are winning, you go out.

Well, what good is such a joint ever going to be? You trek there, they 86 you, you drive all the way back to some real casinos and lose your money there because you are still pissed at the jerkwater casino.

Its just not worth it. No amount of sight seeing at nearby attractions is worth it.
