I am new to this forum but am a big fan of the Wizard.
I've been told by a blackjack expert that I might have a difficult time betting 5 hands simulatenously for low stakes, even in Las Vegas. I do not count cards, but what I like to do is play 5 hands simultaneously early on in the shoe. With that being said, are there any casinos that would allow me to sit at a table and do this until any other players walked up and wished to sit down and play? If so, which casinos might be more amenable than others? Shall I e-mail them ahead of time to ask; I am planning to fly in this Sunday. I know in Missouri the limit is 3 hands at a time, but for the love of God tell me that Las Vegas doesn't have the same stiffling conditions for low stakes players!
If I cannot sit and consistently play 5 hands simultaneously at a table, is it possible a casino would allow me to play 5 hands simultaneously for just the first round, play out that round, and then leave the table? (I would probably be betting $25 per hand for a total of $125 for the round.). If I did this, they would know for sure I am not a card counter because I am just playing the first round and then leaving. Or would this prove to be annonying to the casino because the dealer would have to shuffle after dealing out only 1 round to me?
Thank you in advance,
Steven

I think your only real chance would be to go at 5-6 AM and hope for the best. $5 shoe-dealt games are getting hard to find. One player playing all spots on what might be the only $5 table will not be looked on kindly by management as it keeps other players away, players that may bump to $10-15+. But in a deserted casino early in the AM (and I mean 5-7:30 AM or so) and an empty table a bored dealer and pit boss may say,m "why not?"
I would not over-worry about being caught as a counter for such low stakes.

Well, I guess there is the issue of defining "low stakes". He did say that he would be playing $25 per hand for multiple hands. I think it should be possible to find a table available for that kind of play several places on the strip without restricting him to 5-6 AM.
If you're willing to bet quarters, I would think most low-end casinos would welcome your action if you wanted to play 5 hands on a $5 or $10 table. I think that if I were you, I'd try this at one of the larger "locals" casinos. Somewhere big enough to have a pit open early in the morning, and remote enough to have open tables in that pit. Maybe one of the Station casinos?
Quote: AsswhoopermcdaddyI also assume your buy-in is going to be quite large to support playing a quarter per hand for 5 hands. $125 action X 40 = $5000. Is that fair?? If I was the pit boss, I'd let you do it. Might even give you a buffet comp too.
Well out of my league here... For that money I'd call or email a host beforehand to arrange it. A smaller casino, as has been said like a local's place or something Downtown, seems a reasonable choice.
