Hi.
At one of the casinos I like to play most have a very speciel rule about splitting tens. When you split tens at their casino, and you recieve an ace it counts as a blackjack and you get normal 3/2 blackjack payout.
How does it effact my interrest in splitting tens when I use the high-low index (thorp, Bet the dealer) Right now I split tens against a dealers 6 when the index is higher than 7, but is it lower now when I get paid better of with the speciel blackjack rule ?

For the HI/lo system, it is in your interest to split 10s when....
10s vs 6 true count +5 or higher
10s vs 5 true count +5 or higher
10s vs 4 true count +7 or higher
10s vs 3 true count +9 or higher
10s vs 2 true count +12 or higher
===========================
Logically if there is a new rule that gives an additional advantage to splitting 10's, you should split on a lower count. I don't know how much lower. Obviously not all the time. My WAG would be take the numbers down by 1 or 2.
