Last month I read on the Wizard of Odds website about a really interesting variety of blackjack which only exists in Panama. I quickly engineered a demo today so that anyone can play, since I could not find one online.
Let me know what you think of this variety, and if you're having any issues with the game :)
Does anyone know of any other country-specific blackjack variants like this?
Thanks and peace out y'all

They used to have a game similar to blackjack called Rommy in Costa Rica. It paid bonuses for any 3 of a kind even if you exceeded 21 . Also bonuses for 6,7,8 like sp21.
I can’t remember all the other rules.
Happy days are here again

I was able to find some more information on "Rommy"
It seems like blackjacks pay 1:1 rather than 3:2 or 6:5.
I believe it uses a normal 52 card deck.
Getting a three of a kind (especially 7-7-7) or straight flush (especially 6-7-8) pays a bonus. Some say that an 8-8-8 bust pays too. Insurance against a 10 costs 10% of your original bet and pays 10:1
While writing this post, I realize this was already written about by the Wizard, though it seems like he didn't cover every variation or mention the insurance.
