I usually don't win at blackjack, although I like to think I'm getting better, but I recently went into an indian casino in northern ca. They had a single deck hand shuffle game going, so I started playing. I won 9 hands in a row. Right off the bat. I figured it was a crazy fluke, so I took my winnings and left. The next time I went in and started playing the same table. after a few wins and losses, I had another winning streak. 8 in a row. That has never happened to me, muchless twice so close together. What are the odds of winning that many hands in a row? Is there a possibility that a hand shuffled deck is more likely to clump the cards in such a way so as to promote winning or losing streaks?
