Hi everyone, let's suppose to have a game with the following rules:
-single deck
-Bj 3:2
-das
-split to 4 hands allowed for 2-10
-split aces only once and no hit on splitted aces
-21 obtained by splitting 10 are paid 3:2 (this rule seems to have no effect on the house edge :/ )
-no surrender
-dealer peeks for BJ only with A as upcard (if the upcard is a 10 there's no peek)
-Player 21 vs Dealer BJ is a push

Now: in the page of wizzard of odds about Blackjack rules variations i found the following values about the house edge:
No-peek 10 upcard = -0,10%
21 vs Dealer BJ is a push = +0,35%
so the house edge variations for these rules should be +0,25%
but when i do the math with a combinatorial analyzer I obtain a variation of the house edge of +0,75

I guess it's because you can only get a 21 with 10 upcard, is it correct? Or am i missing something?

Does dealer stand or hit on soft 17?
So many better men, a few of them friends, are dead. And a thousand thousand slimy things live on, and so do I.

When dealer shows an upcard 10, the probability of a final blackjack is 1/13, and the probability of a player non-blackjack 21 is about 7.5%. Therefore, the EV gain from this special rule is 7.5%*(1/13 )*(4/13)=0.18 %.
