Post covid resulted in more players willing to play at higher stakes with less quality games available.
Pre covid was to play 20 sessions green chip Monday thru Friday AM. Post has been to ask for table minimums to be increased when sitting down to play. A definate no-no. So "Just Walk on By" has been the recent tune all too often.
A reverse work week seems to be the answer to competition and balance of life. Start on Friday night at black chip min. Work backwards to green chip min until 20 sessions. This leaves a mid week break and a more efficient play time process.
I dont think this is possible to sim. Sometimes writing it out and getting input provides a strong and quicker foundation to a new project. I look forward to Bosox, Norm, and G88 and other blackjack comments. If any.

Moses, having more players at the table willing to be playing at higher stakes and having less quality games available sounds like plenty of trouble to me. If you are willing to play under that scenario you need to admit to yourself that you are accepting plenty of costly concessions. Lots of increased variance even though you will be getting fewer rounds playing Friday night. Ultimately, you are the one who must decide where you will draw the line to either continue playing that ever degenerating game or make other options for yourself.
This week reversed started with 4 straight wins at the $100 min. At 7-8-1 with 4 sessions to go. A profit is guaranteed even if I lose the last 4 sesions at $25 min.

The week finished 9-9-2 but the profits offset the January loss.
A friend of mine is boasting is Martingale system. The peckerhead is up $7k in 7 sessions. But he said something interesting. To win $1000. You just win 40 units before losing 7 staight hands.
I told they'd fry him on forums. He replied "that's why I don't read forums." 😨
Oncedear. MF is my friend.😄
Odd. He buys in for $3200. plays $25 to $1600 with MG and they dont even notice. Im at another table 1-6 and getting hawked.
Does anyone ever get banned for MG?
He played 30 min. won $1,100. I worked 4 hours. Lost $400.
What is wrong with the pictire?
First thought of the day. I do not see me ever betiing $1600 after losing 6 straight hands and not knowing the count. Id get 10,6 sure as hell. Plus, Im a slow starter.
Two plays were the difference last night. A 10,4 10,2 vs 10.
I wasnt allowed to see the 2nd hand until playing the first. The 10 on the 2nd hand was the difference between a hit than stand on 14. I stand. Get a 6 on the 2nd hand for 18. Dealer has 20. She showed me next card before shuffle. It was 8. So two losses instead of push on borderline call.
The other was max bet. Two hands at 20 vs A. Insured. Dealer hits to a 4 card 21. ..it happens. That was a session tie. But wouldve brought me all the way back and then some.
