He buys in for approx. $17-30 k. Bets approx. $500-2000 hand. Will sometimes bet the terrible side bet of "matching the dealer " plays only two shoes. Win or lose very generously tips the dealer usually $500
for approx. 30 minutes of work. He says that he's been winning at blackjack..his only source of income..for the past 9 years. When I asked him how he can do that w/o counting he blew me off saying he wasn't going to debate me about whether counting was the only way to win at bj.
Obviously with his buy ins and bets he made alot of money previous to his blackjack days.
Anyone familiar with this guy and would like to comment ?

the degens you see on youtube are previously lucky in life people - sorry i meant hard working people that decided they could make degen gambling videos and im jelly i want to do my part and be able to die gambling in a casino from second hand smoke lung cancer
Keep in mind that in CT (a lot of his videos used to be Mohegan Sun but now a lot are in Florida), the state takes 7% of every handpay off the top. He's got to be losing a bundle on slots.
I also don't see how, long run, he is making money at BJ with his play style.

He is YouTube famous. He makes all his money from YouTube views. He then uses that to gamble and put on his Chanel, which gets him more views.
He probably makes $25,000+ a month between YouTube, Online Casino affiliate percentages, donations and product sales.

Thanks for this post I was looking for something about this channel recently and this is really. I had a discussion in the comments of a video and he was a very know it all in his response. He said he has been playing blackjack his way for the last 20 years and professional for 9 years. I told him I am a perfect basic strategy player and play in the state of Pennsylvania with great blackjack rules for player like S17, surrender, etc. I have a bachelors in Industrial engineering and I studied very deep probability and statistics in college. My theoretical loss is 0.30 percent plus comps takes me over 100 percent return. I understand how to card count, but just not just in casinos to make it work and don't want to risk a bankroll. When I watch Mark play he gets 75-80 percent of basic strategy, but when you play 5k-10k a hind like he does the long term catches up with you very quickly. At his average bet level (because he plays 2-3 hands most of the time he would need a $5 Million bankroll to have a 1% risk of ruin. I said to him if he plays slots he is not and how he plays blackjack not a professional gambler. I said to him if you go to the casino and just win money every time at some point the 10 pit bosses watching him play will no longer let him walk though the door - they will tell you that you are too good. I think he loses 3-4 percent in blackjack and 10 percent in slots. I don't think the Youtube money is enough to cover his losses, because of how high limits he plays. I think it is one 3 options - (1) he has a trust fund (2) he won the powerball lottery (3) he sold a company for $50 Million? What does everyone else think? Other idea I had is he makes these videos in his basement? I watched one of the slot videos and counted how many times he clicked per minutes, with 10 percent house edge he will lose $3400 per hour. I think he could lose $1500-$2000 per hour in blackjack. I told him if he has a system to in every time he sell it for billions and never have to play again. Gretchen doesn't have money because she was playing blackjack the other day and she only played $25 per hand. The only reason she married him is because he has money. The average person watching his videos has never played blackjack in their lives. He would never subject himself to analysis by the wizard.
Take care
This is a show to attract players to gambling. Get a life!

can you place this anger in the "teen friendly vegas" i dont mind i think its just misplaced
anything to get teens closer to something they are told not to do is just common sense that some of them if not all of them will want to gamble or eventually gamble because the grown ups told them they cant do it
I asked Mark, "Why does the Casino allow an "Advantage Player" such as yourself to play at their Casino? Mark never responded to that question.
When I asked Mark if he would ever play UTH, his wife answered by saying he is a Professional BlackJack Player only. I politely told Mark I'm not interested in joining his Cult, or any Cult for that matter. The next time out at the Hard Rock with "Pablo" as his Dealer he actually mocked me but not by name of course.
Make no mistake, I like watching Mark win, but it does seem very odd that he wins so much and the Casino still takes his "Action" ?
