All the 1X2 blackjack games use the following rules:
Six decks
Dealer stands on soft 17.
Dealer peeks for blackjack.
Double after split allowed.
Player may split only one time.
No surrender.
No draw to split aces.
When i plug these rules into the Wizards strategy calculator it says i should always split 8s.
/games/blackjack/strategy/calculator/
BUT
The Wizards custom strategy card for 1X2 games says NOT to split 8s against 10 and A.

Why is there a discrepancy here? I would expect to always split 8s unless its European style "no peek" rule. Am I missing something?
Thanks,
