Good day!

I'm a relatively new Oklahoma resident, and I've played a total of zero table game hands here in Oklahoma due to the Oklahoma Ante. I haven't run the numbers, so I was curious about the ante vs. 6/5 games. If the ante is .50 up to and including a $50 bet and $1 beyond $50 to infinity, could you calculate the point where a $1 (or .50) ante is better than a 6/5 game? I don't see a way to calculate this on the page.

Thanks!

The 6/5 costs 1.39%. So 0.50/.0139 and 1/.0139 are the numbers you're looking for. That's about 36 and about 72. But, if you're anywhere near either of them, you could look into playing at downstream or at Kiowa. Both had no ante last time I was there. Others have ante happy hours or other ante-reduction methods.

Not a math guy but think I can give you an idea of the cost.
Fifty hands an hour at a full table. If playing less than $50 a hand, this will cost you $25 per hour. You get a BJ approx every 23 hands, so a bit more than two an hour at this pace. If your average bet is $10, a 6/5 game will cost you $$8 an hour compared to a 3-2 game. The 6-5 no ante is far better.
At $50 a hand, you lose the same $25 an hour but the difference between 3-2 and 6/5 is close to $30 an hour.
The 3-2 ante game is better. A guesstimate would be the point you are looking for is just north of $45.
The difference between fiction and reality is that fiction is supposed to make sense.

Just to clarify, all the games I've seen here at 3/2. The closest casino to work has no ante Monday through Thursday, but the closest to home has ante all the time in the .50 to $49 and $1 above that
