Hi,
question for all you BJ-maths experts out there ... and for the Wizard himself of course ;-)
Been to my local German casino today and met a dealer who paid 3:2 for a hand of 21 after splitting Aces. "Surveillance" while happy to assists with any paying disputes, did not notice either. It went on for the entire evening. Being not much of a BJ player myself, I still think of going back (Within walking distance of my home!! // normally I fly around the globe to Vegas) and was wondering what the house edge would be under these circumstances:
* BJ pays 3:2
* Dealer stands on soft 17
* Dealer does not peek for BJ
* Double after split allowed
* Re-splitting aces allowed
* 21 after splitting aces pays 3:2
* Double only on hard 9, 10, 11 -NO doubling on soft hands at all
* No surrender
Many thanks

Does the house edge calculator on the wizard's site not deal with these rules?

Assuming infinite decks, I show A-10 after splitting aces paying 3-2 and automatically winning (except against a dealer blackjack) to be worth 0.18%.

Do you mean the whole game has a player advantage of 0.18%, or this rule reduces the house edge by 0.18%?Quote: WizardAssuming infinite decks, I show A-10 after splitting aces paying 3-2 and automatically winning (except against a dealer blackjack) to be worth 0.18%.

The race is not always to the swift, nor the battle to the strong; but that is the way to bet.
