Have you ever sat at a table and it seemed like everyone was winning except you?
that one guy that always gets 20, or the lucky guy that gets the perfect non busting hit card?
after playing 5-10 hands and seeing this repeatedly done should you
1) Quit
2) Sit Out Hand
3) Add Hand
4)Not hit under 13-16
it just seems like they are winning the money your losing. The dealer will have a 19, you only have a 18 or along those lines of getting beat by the dealer by 1 over.
it gets frustrating especially when others are having better hands and you keep getting stuck with the losing one

I may have given you some silly answers on the last thread but look through all my posts and you will receive the answers you are looking for because I actually whole heartedly believe you and can prove what you are saying is a possibility. I BELIEVE YOU.

It's not very scientific,
but yes it does sometimes seem like there isn't enough luck at the table to go all the way around.
But moving won't necessarily help any more than switching spots at a poker table.
Then again, try to tell the San Diegan who just won $530M with a single lottery ticket that luck doesn't matter.

Not necessary to predict it in advance, but when it's happening, an experienced gambler takes advantage of it and presses his bet. If it's just a one hand lucky thing oh well, useless, but a streak, it's not hard to sense it as it's happening. That's the clutch.
And the count isn't everything. I've had friends booted from casinos for counting cards even though they were losing.

1. Wager a small proportion of your session bankroll ( less than 10% )
2. Ignore the good or bad fortune of your co-players, unless you get some pleasure from them.
3. Play basic strategy, or be an expert card counter.
4. If you've lost your session bankroll then quit session.
5. If you've had enough fun then quit session.
6. Goto 1
Not hit under 13-16 is not basic strategy, so that is not part of the plan... Besides... did you mean 'not hit over 13' which is also not part of the plan. EVER!

I was playing in a casino recently when management came up and said they had to cut me off for the night after my 5th one. I told them it's just bottled water. They said, we know, but we can't have you getting all hydrated and winning too much up in here. I didn't dare try any positive thinking after that.

I'm glad I never learned BJ. I have enough trouble playing UTH and dealing with these same issues.
