that one guy that always gets 20, or the lucky guy that gets the perfect non busting hit card?
after playing 5-10 hands and seeing this repeatedly done should you
1) Quit
2) Sit Out Hand
3) Add Hand
4)Not hit under 13-16
it just seems like they are winning the money your losing. The dealer will have a 19, you only have a 18 or along those lines of getting beat by the dealer by 1 over.
it gets frustrating especially when others are having better hands and you keep getting stuck with the losing one

I may have given you some silly answers on the last thread but look through all my posts and you will receive the answers you are looking for because I actually whole heartedly believe you and can prove what you are saying is a possibility. I BELIEVE YOU.
but yes it does sometimes seem like there isn't enough luck at the table to go all the way around.
But moving won't necessarily help any more than switching spots at a poker table.
Then again, try to tell the San Diegan who just won $530M with a single lottery ticket that luck doesn't matter.
Luck always matters, AFTER THE FACT. Let me know when you can find a way to predict when luck is going to happen.Quote: MDawgIt's not very scientific,

And the count isn't everything. I've had friends booted from casinos for counting cards even though they were losing.

When it's happening, a player that believes in streaks continues to delude himself.
How is being so negative conducive to winning? Like going in and saying to yourself, "I will fail." Well, then you fail.

1. Wager a small proportion of your session bankroll ( less than 10% )
2. Ignore the good or bad fortune of your co-players, unless you get some pleasure from them.
3. Play basic strategy, or be an expert card counter.
4. If you've lost your session bankroll then quit session.
5. If you've had enough fun then quit session.
6. Goto 1
Not hit under 13-16 is not basic strategy, so that is not part of the plan... Besides... did you mean 'not hit over 13' which is also not part of the plan. EVER!
Quote: MDawgBut if it's I, he wins. Consistently.
I actually can't see how someone so negative could ever win. Like going in and saying to yourself, "I will fail." Well, then you fail.
I'm a lifetime profitable Blackjack player. Actually I'm very positive. Except when it comes to mumbo jumbo.
That you win consistently is your good luck, Good for you. Crap advice from you, though.
Other than maybe getting up and leaving if it's not happening.
I believe you. Never even suspected it.Quote: MDawgI'm not trying to sell or tout any system.

So by your theory the only thing you need to perform brain surgery is a positive attitude. Good to know medical school isn't necessary.
Quote: MDawgNot necessary to predict it in advance, but when it's happening, an experienced gambler takes advantage of it and presses his bet. If it's just a one hand lucky thing oh well, useless, but a streak, it's not hard to sense it as it's happening. That's the clutch.

Funny how Nathan always got scolded for bad advice given on the forum , yet nonsense like this is permitted.
Ya, ya, the mods will tell you there's no IP location connection whatsoever.... blah blah blah.

For sure. Not sure why MDawg doesn't have his own Winning with -EV BS Corner yet.

Hard to imagine that you have time to win anything in between all the time you spend insulting people. :-)

Some here that tend to think that the people who come to Vegas constantly are deluded degenerates.

Casinos are too busy chasing down card counters.
In reality it’s positive thinkers and people who press when the shoe is hot that should be getting the boot

This happens to me often. I just move to a winning seat and let another player take all the losing hands
