I don't quite understand redouble and forfeit.

If I bet $100 and doubles, that means I put down another 100.
How much do I put down to double again? 100 or 200?

Suppose double again means another 100 only, so I have 3x100, then I forfeit, do I lose 150? or 100? or 200? (Or in other words, how much do I get back?)
Suppose double again means another 200, so I have 100+100+200, then I forfeit, what do I lose?

$100 initial bet. First double $100 more. Second double $200 more. Third double $400 more. If you forfeit, you will get back whatever your last double was.
As the redouble rule is found mostly in Washington state, your redouble might exceed the table max, you may be able to only bet up to the table max, or might not even let you redouble. How they treat what you get back in this case varies by casino.
