I've always wanted to truly be on a jury, especially when I worked for the government and would have been paid for it.

Yeah, same. I donít get why people donít want to do it, barring missing work because you live paycheck to paycheck, or a legitimate reason like that.

Yeah buddy, your ranting to a group of people online about how great you are and how we are all drones screams happiness.
I got a plan, we take all your picks we reverse them like one of those twilight zone episodes where everything is the opposite. You say "black" we go white.

I think it's worth doing. Been on 2 juries, been called as an expert witness in 2 more. One was a jury trial, the other was in front of an ALJ. It was all very interesting.
If the House lost every hand, they wouldn't deal the game.

The formality of it freaked me out. The judge belittled anyone with an obviously dumb excuse not to be there. One girl didn't come back from lunch break so he made a big deal about a warrant or something (probably trying to scare the rest of us). Another guy made a fuss about having to come back the following day and the judge threatened him with something. Also, just imagining the pressure of deciding someone else's fate really made me think. The whole thing just felt too much like all those days in the principal's office.

Going thru this thread makes me feel like im switching tv channels

Channel 4 showing a juicy back and forth between 2 APs who hate each other

My remote keeps clicking over to the boring discussion about jury pools on channel 7 (no offense Wizard)

There was even a promotion for Charmin Tissue on one of the channels
For Whom the bus tolls; The bus tolls for thee

I can understand how that would be a poor experience. That's not at all how the judges have been in my two opportunities (I was seated on the jury one, and not the other). On both occasions the judges seemed to go overboard to thank the jurors and prospective jurors, and make us as comfortable as possible.

None taken.

When I specifically say drones, Im really not referring to the people on this forum, other than a select few at times. Im saying it most of the time IN GENERAL to the general public, the ones who are fixated on celebrity gossip, the ones who do not care about anything political or what is happening around them, etc.

I actually have a lot of respect for some of the people on here who are much smarter than me in other areas such as the mathematics of everything as well as others I have met who are able to gain an edge through various different channels. I just wish more people were more understanding and inquisitive of what is going on around them on a legal basis. That's where the drone thing comes from, but again it's more aimed at the robots we have out there in the world who literally dont have a clue about anything other than celebrity gossip, drinking, partying, etc.

Any private business open to the PUBLIC (ie. droned out casinos) cannot have a criminal trespass enforced against an individual without GOOD CAUSE (Disruptive or Disorderly conduct). You will never go to prison for being thrown out of a casino for legal advantage play and then returning because it's simply unconstitutional 'as applied' to the individual. 'As applied' constitutional issues must FIRST be raised in DISTRICT COURT (trial court) to have it thrown out. You CANNOT raise it on APPEAL This is the best kept secret in the world of casinos not just in Vegas but everywhere in the country. Thank me later.

Soft? Trust me, Iím tougher than you in every measurable way.

Youíre the one on the used side of that paper.

For some reason you think that 51k is something to be proud of. Not sure who you judge yourself against, but you seem damn miserable yourself. Blaming casinos for your inability to play for than 8 hours a week. Or maybe you are the typical millennial, not willing to work hard for anything, blaming others for your life. Perhaps you arenít as special as you see to think you are.

You are the guy who put his identity out there because you were stupid enough to brag about your loss in a video game tournament. Which if I remember correctly you blamed on your cursed life.

Love you King!

I never said my bankroll was anything to be proud of, at least not in the monetary sense. There's many as you have noted before, that make what I have in a month or whatever. Thats not the point. The way I got it there, is definitely something im very proud of. I used to work 2 jobs, grind low stake blackjack after work with trips to PA, grind through the high variance that ap blackjack entails, as well as never losing my head or discipline throughout, and last but not least save up as much as I could just so I can go to Vegas and do something I believed in. I was even BREAK EVEN after my first 600 hours of blackjack play. How many would have quit after that? Not to mention the swings and adversity immediately when I got here with everyone also doubting me in the process including friends and family, and still never losing my head while playing, never over betting, and most importamtly never giving up.

Also did you just call me a millenial? If you want to use stereotypes, how many millenials hace my point of view on economics and the way I live my life? How many credit cards do I have, how many handouts have I received, and how many loans have I taken out. Also you also had the audacity to say im not willing to work hard? Yeah, i guess qorking two jobs and grinding a bankroll to what it is, driving 1.5 hours each way to PA and back after work, all the while being able to SAVE as much as I could(how many millenials know what saving even means).
