on cruise ship.
bored because I've already seen the show in the theater and didn't want to see it again.
no one playing poker or craps.

sat down to blackjack:
3:2, 8deck csm, no rsa, no surrender, dealer hits s17

haven't played bj in years.
had the basic strategy sheet from wiz's site.

bought in for 20 units.
was up 10 units then lost all 30 pretty quick.
dealer was getting multi-card 21 left and right.

bought in for another 40 units and played 2 hands at a time.
also lost that quick.
deal was getting blackjack OFTEN!

but thanks to this group, I know a sample size of 2 is SMALL and not to worry about it.
dealer going on what seems a near impossible winning streak of never busting happens.

disappointed that I lost 60 units that quick but didn't get mad/angry/scream cheating and flip table over.
all thx to the wiz and his apostles. :)

The worst shellacking for me was a 20-unit loss for one shoe, winning only one hand. It can and does happen.

A high count of blackjacks is highly favorable for the player, barring terrible luck as you experienced. And assuming a fair game.

Others on this forum claim a CSM can’t be used to bias a game. Probably true, so probably just bad luck. It sucks when that strikes.
