At the casino in Bregenz, Austria, I noticed a blackjack game with rules so bad they set a new low -- by far. The name of the game is Blackjack Party. The main rule changes compared to ordinary blackjack are a winning blackjack pays 6 to 5 and a dealer 22 pushes any bets still standing. This one-two punch truly adds insult to injury. Bottom line is a house edge of 8.0%.
Please click the link I just left for all the details and my analysis. A basic strategy is done but I can't directly upload to the site any longer so have to wait on one of the coders to upload it. For now, it is similar to that Blackjack Switch, except for changes based on the dealer standing on soft 17 and no dealer hole card.
For the fellow math wizards on the forum, I certainly welcome any confirmation or correction on my house edge. Mine was done by infinite deck with a 0.1% the player's way as an adjustment for six decks.
The question for the forum is would you play Blackjack Party?

hopefully you secretly took a picture of the people playing so you can post it on this site:

I assume this is a rhetorical question?

So they throw a few extremely minuscule player advantage rules in to offset huge house advantage rules.
Ten years from now , the norm for a $5/hand bj player will be push on dealer 22 and blackjacks paying 11-10. It’s sad.

To the one who voted about the jacket, no, I didn't bring one. Jackets and a collared shirt are required of men. You can borrow a jacket for 5.2 € but they waive the fee for new players.

I get that the "splitting aces infinitely" rule reduces house edge by about 0.00076, or 0.076%. Does that sound about correct?
So many better men, a few of them friends, are dead. And a thousand thousand slimy things live on, and so do I.

Probably less, right? Since some of those split aces will push against a dealer 22.

Good point. My agreement was based on conventional blackjack.
