Oh deary me. ZK, you seem to have overlooked something..... The reason you need massive bankroll to overcome risk of ruin is so that you can put all of that bankroll at real risk in your quest to make profit. Seems you didn't have the commitment to do that and chickened out early. That 5% only applies if you stick with it, which you ain't. Also living expenses have nothing to do with bankroll: You have them whether you play or not.

I seem to remember some long ago posts about "a roof, hookers and blackjack wonging" but can't remember the details. If he literally has been at it for more than half a year but has actually played so few hours then yes, I would say he could be more of a "dabbler" than "gambler". Heck, I remember one woman from Iowa or something who walked up, put a five dollar chip down where a dealer suggested, got paid another five dollar chip and went to the cashier with them. That was her gambling experience in Vegas. The crew and the rest of the players laughed.
If you have some system you at least have to keep at it. Too many hookers to survive the inevitable losses? Bank roll depleted? Yeah, that's usually the situation with bankrolls. That is why people want to own casinos. Its the best 'system' there is.

I would have hoped you'd figure this out by now, but this is not a democracy. There is no "move" or "second" or vote on members or suspensions. There are rules. Everyone who signs up agrees to them. We enforce them as best we can. End of story.

Are you implying that someone hacked Zenking and posted this out of character temper tantrum rant("Feel like it's a mark having to use the so called f word")I remember there being a real issue with hackers hacking other people's profiles on the old IMDB message boards and posting as them. The innocent victims happened to have either easy to guess passwords or easy to guess answers to their security questions and the victims had to deal with not being able to log into their own accounts after the hacker changed the password and the security question had to reregister. So messed up.
The only value I see from him on this forum is humor and allowing other people, who are miserable with their own lives, feel better about themselves.

Developing a work ethic and legitimate plan of attack might help as well.

But, I do think zenking's contribution as a whole, sharing his frustrations, including to the point that he losses control of his emotions is valuable to anyone considering blackjack card counting as a career opportunity or as a serious money making venture. It kind of shows a characteristic that is not relatable to card counting as a career or serious play.

This is a relatively small loss over a very insignificant period of time. Has any one explained to zenking that blackjack card counting is not a short term type endeavor?
Zenkings total blackjack career consists of 1100 hours, including whereever he came from pre-Las Vegas. That should be about a years worth of play for a lower level grinder type player. And in the 1100 hours or about a year's worth of play, he is +38k ??
That sounds like a pretty decent result for a new player during their first 1000 hours, considering mistakes and the learning curve. I think the whole issue here may be unrealistic expectations.
