Quote: ZenKinGDid you really just say i was "homeless" for a while LOL. Way to be misleading just to fit your little personal attacks trying to bring me down. It's called dedication and discipline, something 99% of this forum doesnt have. I went back home for the holidays and moved out of the apartment to save costs and not have to pay rent while i wasnt there and then when i got back i still had not found a place to move in so i slept one day in my car, big deal.
You say I failed, but yet im in the black and the fact that you dont understand 230 hours is a meaningless sample size tells me all i need to know about what you and others are doing or maybe it shows your true proficiency as an AP. Not that I need any of your guys support, i actually hope everyone here is against me, makes no difference to me.
1066 hours and over 43k profit with an average bet after all the resizing of give or take $200 still puts me under EV, but I guess it could be worse and I've already done what 99% of counters cannot do, which is turn a nice profit and start off my career being in the red after 400 hours and still not give up. Nobody will ever take any of that away from me.
Also, I dont know why you referred to me having a job back home, i was only playing blackjack while i was at home with my parents at least the last year os so i was with them. Also, regarding where I live, i dont even live in that dump anymore, i moved to a different place by the strip like i did when I first got here. Already moved 3 times. It's all about saving costs and adjusting.
I wonder where could have possibly got the idea that you were homeless?

Quote: MrBoI have a question for you Zenking. Why do you post your results? I have witnessed KewJ and others do this on various sites dating back years and have never understood any benefit to doing so. And if a player is playing a specific location, like Las Vegas, it almost seems like you are issuing a challenge to the Casinos. I am here, I am doing this, see if you can find me. I think you and others would be better served to just play your game. Use message boards to network and learn information that can benefit you, but keep the specifics, including results to yourself.
I'm not scared or worried about any casinos in this town. I want to go to court. I hope they try to illegally arrest me. I'm waiting for it. They can bluff 99% of people that come to count in this city, but they won't bluff me. I know the law better than anyone in this city. I'll finish what Ken Uston started decades ago. I'm not leaving this town until there's a court decision in my favor.
You got casinos like Paris or Mirage thinking they can intimidate me saying im 'barred' or 'trespassed' and I just laugh in their face. I already went back to Paris after the first trespass and guess what? "Trespass him again". These casinos know damn well they can't touch me and I'm not going anywhere. I hope i illegally get backroomed as well and they try to rough me up. It will take 6 security guards to take me down. Even if they rough me up, Ill be back again next week.

I don't need a lawyer. I can be my own counsel and represent myself. I'll also have the right to all court fees refunded to me after I win the case. Our founding fathers actually had a brain and gave knowledgeable citizens the power to defend themselves. Too bad everyone is droned out today such as many on this forum and need an attorney or lawyer for every little thing they do. Take the average intelligence of the average citizen today and then combine the use of alcohol and celebrity gossip shoved down their throats on the daily and throughout the weekend and that's the society we live in today. What a great time to be alive. I can't imagine how the world would be if everyone was like me. Would actually be a world worth living on.
ZK vs a team of Cesar's staff attorneys... It will make for a good story.

'And' that's another problem we have as well. Everyone just pushes everything to the side and says 'Well what can you do, thats 'just' how it is' or is that really 'worth' it. Gone are the days when people stood for what's right and fought for what they believe in. This world and society is a complete joke. Everyone is happy just being a drone working 9-5 and letting whether it's government, lawyers, the 'system', lies, police corruption, town corruption, unfair and unethical laws and practices, etc., get away with raping everyone because everyone is so uneducated and rather just go sit on their couch after a grueling day at their office job only to come home and be droned out to misleading TV news, rinse and repeat.
No one 'cares' about anything, no one sees anything as 'worth it', everyone just pushes things aside and leaves it for the next generation, so on and so forth. That's exactly why this world has turned to a piece of garbage. The 'rights' we have today or whatever's left of them are because back then, centuries ago, people stood up to government and to tyranny. Now we have a bunch of 'satisfied' drones. People live in the illusion of freedom.

I guess I am satisfied with my methods. While you were counting making $40k over the last two years, I pulled down $300k from employment and made another $50k gambling in the spare time I had between work, sleeping with my wife, and raising kids.
I should probably just count cards.

And how old are you again? Money doesn't mean one iota to me, it really doesn't. Anyone can work up to a job eventually making 80-100k a year, but when they're on their death bed looking back at their life, what did they accomplish that they're proud of. I'm already proud of many things that I've done that I can look back and have no regrets. As long as I can live comfortably and look back at things that I accomplished that many couldn't, I'm satisfied. People are so obsessed with making X amount in their lifetime that when it's time to go under the ground, they realize it wasn't worth it at all. What is everyone chasing? The 'system' has everyone by the balls and they don't even realize it.
The illusion of money giving you all this happiness is nothing but a fantasy that gives no real internal joy. At the end of the day, it's the people you meet, the friendships you make, the love that you give to others, being an honorable ethical person; that's what will fulfill your life, not the balance in your bank account. People spend their whole lives chasing 'retirement' only to get there and realize it was all a bluff and get bored after one week. If you're not doing what you enjoy throughout your whole life, you're doing it all wrong. Money will come naturally over time as long as whatever you do, you do it well.

Maybe that's how it was in your house and where you were raised, but lots of folks here in Portland are very, very ENGAGED in all aspects of their existence.
Portland is very antiestablishment as well.
Here's an example.
My secretary used to barrel race, and she donated her horse to the Portland P.D.
One day a VIP, someone requiring Secret Service protection, was in Stumptown and "Old Buck" was used for crowd control.
As it happens he had to let fly with a load of road apples and wouldn't you know it, the hot load festooned the hood of a Secret Service vehicle.
He was, by report, regaled as a hero by the local cops.

Then why choose a "career" where your performance revolves around the winning and losing of cash, that apparently doesn't mean one iota to you. You gambling is "the system". Apparently you take issue with your feeling that the casinos aren't playing by the posted rules especially apparently on holiday weekends.
It is completely incongruous and nonsensical that you would take time out to learn and claim that you are the world's best at a really simple skill (counting cards, something that really an 8th grader could do with good memory skills) in order to win and lose something that doesn't mean one iota to you. It doesn't matter if you are the "greatest in the world" at such a dumb skill. The fact is that I, and most others could learn it, with practice, in a month, and do exactly the same thing as you're doing. I choose not to because first there is no pleasure in sitting in second hand smoke-filled casinos, spending hours and days planning plays, all to eke out a marginal living that can end at any time when a casino decides that you're counting cards and trespass you (which, in Nevada, they have the right to do).
What does matter to you, anyway? Your ego? It seems like it is so.

What you said makes no sense. Just because my performance results in money, so does everything else you do for a living. Its not the money, but the challenge and idea of beating a game. Ive done well at everything games in my life and I always loved the challenge of being the best at a particular game and succeeding at it.
Poker players are lucky im not yet on the circuit either. That will probably be the next stepping stone. Ill dominate that as well

Poker players are lucky? I’m salivating at the chance to take your tiny bankroll lol. Come to the felt anytime bud.
For anyone who thinks I’m rooting against ZK, I’m actually not. I hope you succeed ZK but I don’t get why you are back to claiming cheating and why you don’t just put your head down and play more hours. Even if you take the 220 hours over 6 months, that’s only 9 hours a week. I get that there is a lot of walking in what you’re doing but you’re telling me you can’t get 3 hours of play in per day? If not then Vegas isn’t the place to count cause your current hours are a waste of time. Plain and simple.

Yeah cause i would just go to the poker tables before i understand everything that needs to be understood, right? The point im making is if i put in the time to study everything i need to know, i have the natural ability in gaming and betting discipline/composure to dominate. The edge in poker really comes down to making your opponents fold because everyone knows the same math -- as well as knowing whos playing tight and whos not.
None of the people on here have ever been an internationally ranked player in anything let alone 2nd in the world or quarter finalist of anything i bet. Not to mention ive had free flights and accomodation around the world just to play FIFA. If i ever take up poker my discipline and ambition to be the best would make me one of the best in the world and succeed just like I did in blackjack. Yes, i said discipline, which might surprise many on here because wrongly assuming my posts go together with me tilting at the tables.
Theres a difference between my anger rage posts and how i actually play a game. Not once have I ever lost discpline in how I bet in blackjack. I always stayed the course and re-sized my bets in proportion to my bankroll, and not once over-bet to 'make it back' quickly, etc. I was the same way in FIFA, i raged out at my opponents after a loss, but i never let it affect my game. If anything it made me better.

Wrong. You can challenge and beat games without a financial reward. You can measure standard deviation and skill by devising a computer program that has fair decks of cards and measuring your advantage without risking a penny.

I enjoy the competition. Forgot to mention that. Please dont try to argue this point about financial rewards. Everyone needs a financial reward and that is a paycheck to survive. The point is money comes with anything, and as long as you do it well, money comes naturally.

Read all the books you want, this isn’t a game of just learning. Table time is just as important as study time. You’d get eaten alive with nothing but book experience. Also I love your analysis of how to beat the game. Stick to your 9 hours a week of BJ bud lol.

I clearly said its not just about book learning. Everyone knows the same math, at least at the top level. So you need a way of getting an edge over them whether through it's what i said or other things. Geez people have reading comprehension issues on here.

If so, the character is without a doubt deserving of all the bad things that happen to him because of the curse placed on him. And may the actor playing him continue to thrive and show us how it’s done. The world is waiting.

I dont play any characters. What I post is always exactly how i feel at the time and Im as real as they come and what you see is what you get. Because of this, sometimes i come off blunt, harsh, especially after a loss because I need a place to vent. It was the same thing with the FiFA community and i raged after losses and people that knew me online thought I was crazy, but once they met me in person, they said Im a completely different person and nice, etc.
I never insulted anyone or tried to insult anyone on here unless they attacked me first. I have nothing against anyone on here and I dont like making enemies. I came to Vegas with a plan and still plan on executing it. I have strong pride and confidence about anything I do and sometimes that leads to arrogance and stubborness, which is probably what has lead to people attacking me. Is what it is at this point. The biggest thing I underestimated was how hard it would be to get hours in and which is why my bankroll hasnt grown.
I try to keep my expenses under 5% of my portfolio. That way, each year, it's actually bigger than the year before. I can keep this up for the rest of my life, without ever touching my SS or the pension I get starting at 60.
