i am trying to know how it works. then here i want to check if i undertand it right.

i start, firstly of all, i even made a mistake some days ago for the concept.

for bac dragon 7, by Eliot, 89=2, 4567=-1, bet at true 4 or above. by Stephen, 89=2, 4567=-1, A=1(unbalanced card), bet at running count +32 or above.

by coincidence, 4*8=32.

i mistakingly conclude: if start to bet at true 3, 3*8=24, if blackjack, to bet at true 1,six decks,by unbalanced count, i should bet at 1*6=6.

well, it is wrong, the right way to do it is to check how decks are removed.

i need to explain the concept first:

by unbalanced count, the is assumption: the cards will be dealt out by decks:
for example, for dragon 7, if 4* A is dealt out, 1 deck is dealt out.
if 16*A is dealt out, 4 decks
if 28*A is dealt out, 7 decks.
let's check if it matches true account:
after 1 deck, it is 7 decks left, by true 4, we need running count, 28. 28+4*A=32.
after 7 decks, it is 1 deck left, by true 4, we need running count 4. 4+7*4A=32.
decks left "A" removed if to start at true 4, running count needed the right unbalanced count needed
8 0 32 32
7 4 28 32
6 8 24 32
5 12 20 32
4 16 16 32
3 20 12 32
2 24 8 32
1 28 4 32

then it is always 32.

how about if dragon 7, we start to bet at true 3:
decks left "A" removed if to start at true 3, running count needed the right unbalanced count needed
8 4 24 28
7 8 21 29
6 12 18 30
5 16 15 31
4 20 12 32
3 24 9 33
2 28 6 34
1 32 3 35

you see, the right running count needed is not always the same number.

i wanted to figure out why. finding any bet to be started to true 4, no matter how many decks, we always find the same unblanaced count needed. because there are 4 cards(4*A) in a deck or the true count is calculated by decks. when decks is being dealt out, the running count for true count is cut by 4, but the card weighed unbalancely is up by 4.

now let's talk on blackjack, in general, 6 decks, starting at true 1.
let's say KO count: 23456=1, 10A=-1, unbalanced 7=1, 4 cards/deck,
we have this table for running count to go with true count:

decks left "7" removed if to start at true 1, running count needed the right unbalanced count needed
6 0
5.5 2 5.5 7.5
5 4 5 9
4.5 6 4.5 10.5
4 8 4 12
3.5 10 3.5 13.5
3 12 3 15
2.5 14 2.5 16.5
2 16 2 18
1.5 18 1.5 19.5
1 20 1 21

let's say red 7 count: 23456=1, 10A=-1, unbalanced red 7=1, 2 cards/deck

decks left " red 7" removed if to start at true 1, running count needed the right unbalanced count needed
6 0
5.5 1 5.5 6.5
5 2 5 7
4.5 3 4.5 7.5
4 4 4 8
3.5 5 3.5 8.5
3 6 3 9
2.5 7 2.5 9.5
2 8 2 10
1.5 9 1.5 10.5
1 10 1 11
,

if it is all right, i will follow the thread to write what we can benefit from it.
