Barred from backcounting

that's right couldn't even back count a full 6 decker is this normal? im standing there 1/2 through the shoe and pitboss looks at me and says "Cant be on the floor!" im like wtf everyone else is back counting sheesh they are protecting these 6 and 8 deckers like its their balls or mafia's daughter ok maybe not banned or barred but eschewed away how can one backcount or record a shoe w/ these non sense i must need a digital wrist watch camera to succeed at the tables

anywho has anyone ever gotten backed off from watching a game but not actually playing lol

Been in a lot of casinos that don't allow mid-shoe entry. Now they have installed CSM's everywhere, so now they have no need to worry about counters.

Do you look like you are back counting? I would probably sweat you to if I was a pit boss and you looked like a counter.

ofcourse but there were 2 others at the table but thye were with 1 of the players at the table so pit boss said it was ok =/

what is back counting?

Privacy is sometimes valued by high rollers, but rarely are spectators who remain silent shooed away, after all... if its no mid shoe entry they don't care what signals you want to give.

Learn to count without moving your lips.

i had this view similar to what most people thought about global warming to blackjack card counting didn't/doesn't work just like the ozone layer isn't being eaten away by pollution both claiming it does and other claiming it doesn't exist

i guess with them guarding their game so well card counting may actually work i figured if the deck favors the player it also favors the dealer and
the extra dbl/p/sur/insur/1.5 win hardly meant anything but again that casino trip pissed me off and made me wonder more

It works when it favours the player more than the dealer :o)

Have a Baccarat score-card and pen in hand or Keno ticket when walking up to the BJ table. But all things aside, the guy was taking his job a little too seriously for no reason. Odds are, he has been shooing away good customers who would lose money to the Casino than make any significant amount off of them. I see it being done all the time at Casinos.
