Wondering what the conditions and rules are. I think they have it at Parx and you use your player's card.

Yeah, I was lucky that the guy on my right waved a 16 but the dealer hit it, and instead of the supervisor burning the card, she let it be the next card and I conveniently had 13 and was allowed to double. Unfortunately, it was only a minimum bet.

I stumbled upon this game and was excited for it initially. Yes, it's at parx
However, the game moves at a slow 60 hands per hour. 8D with Pennsylvania rules. Max bet is $300. You cannot bet on three hands for some reason. You can only pick one of the 3 hands to bet on. Theoretically, you can get three machines next to each other and fire away. However, I wonder if surveillance will notice if $300 bets are being made when everyone else is making <$25 bets. This is electronic bets after all. For that reason, I just decided to stick to the standard tables.
Also note that when you are taking a card, you will see the next card out of the shoe. However, if you are standing, and another player takes a card, you will not see the card on your screen. You will have to either stand up and peek at another player's screen or listen to the dealer announce the next card (can be hard to hear sometimes).
There is also a side bet for $25 that I didn't bother to analyze.

IDK but if you win ten hands in a row the animated Shaq character says "Kobe...don't be rapin' ".
Looks like it takes up a lot of real estate

Or why they are paying for Shaq branding. Why not just do normal blackjack?
But I mean, I think this is not too bad of an idea. Now you get potentially 30 low rollers in one place instead of wasting space or employees for several tables with $5 minimums. 1 dealer, no floor person for this game.
Thank's I have a few more questions.Quote: AvincowI stumbled upon this game and was excited for it initially. Yes, it's at parx

What's min bet? penetration? Was it rated like a slot/VP or a table game? How slow can you play(can you stall?)
How many terminals/spots per dealer? Pit Boss or just a dealer?
Side bet ehh? Sounds interesting. I asume you can just sit there all day without betting? Just tryin to get the full picture how this works. I guess I should watch the video again and look for more videos on it.

Min bet was $5 I think. You stick card in just like a slot machine if you desire. I did not, so I don't know how points work. My method was to not bet until the count was good, so yeah just hang around and watch like a ton of other ppl and then sit down. I think the pen was between 6.5/8 and 7/8. There's like 30-40 terminals with one dealer. No pit boss. You only get 10-20 seconds or something per move. Rest assured, every move will take 20 seconds with all the poppies.
so $0-$5 to $300 without a pit boss breathing down your neck.Quote: AvincowMin bet was $5 I think. You stick card in just like a slot machine if you desire. Yes, a dream come true. Or is it? Who is to say there isn't someone in surveillance looking out for when someone bets $300. The terminals know what cards come out of the shoe. Can it be assumed that it knows the count as well? Maybe surveillance gets notified when $300 bets are made in a good count. but probably not. If you are paranoid, you can keep it under $100. But the game is slow. You are probably better off playing the old fashioned way. $300 bet in real blackjack is not too big of a deal most times, no machine is keeping track of the cards, and the pit boss is concerned with other stuff many times.
Personally I would rather put the time and effort into something else.Quote: AvincowYes, a dream come true. Or is it? I'm just surprised is all.
It would probably be good for a guy who's just getting started and learning and doesn't have a big bankroll.

What did you need to know with it - pm if you don't want it public

im in parx for the first time in over 1 yr, seems ur comps or free play disappears if u not been there in some time. i never got much anyway from the old style VBJ machines, so i doubt it gives much comp--if any. plus in MOST VBJ in this part of the country, even ive seen in other states out east signs on the machines that say "each players cards dealt from individual shoe and other players decisions have no impact on u". i didnt investigate this game specifically (roll is dropped to under $20,000 so im only here to play poker), but are u sure its not shuffling every hand, (regular VBJ machines in the Trop do and so do the new ones but not the old ones in delaware park.) and u cant really track the count if the count is different for every player since they use seperate shoes? and if the dealer is using a different shoe than u, ur count is different than his, so how would it be beat?
would love to meet up with one of the regulars as long as its a guy who gets an edge, who can show me how
