VEGAS STRIP CASINOS RESPOND TO REDUCE BLACKJACK REVENUE

After a long meeting among the gaming managers at the majority of the strip casinos, it was determined that there was an overwhelming need to increase revenue from blackjack on the strip and that they would immediately take the following actions to achieve that goal.

1. No game will be allowed that has more than 13 cards behind the cut card.
2. Stand 17 rule is in effect on all games
3. Early surrender is offered on high limit games
4. Card counters are ignored as their impact has been determined to be minimal and the cost of stopping the few is more than the potential losses.
5. No mid shoe entry restriction is barred from all games.
6. All games must be of 6 decks or less.
7. Casino comp programs will be improved to promote play for players card programs used for blackjack
8. 6:5 Blackjack is illegal and any casino caught offering it will be subject to harsh financial penalties.

APRIL FOOL!

Hey, if only! I would gladly change my username to APRIL FOOL! But only if, they alllow players to review misdeals to identify advantageous situations where a missed card could result in their messed up hand being a natural blackjack, a 20, or better yet, a split or double situation against a dealer stiff.

They'll compromise on those - all games will be 5 or 6-deck CSM.

No April 1st gotchas from me, I can't fool anyone the other 363.25 days a year. Why would I bother to try on the day everyone is expecting it? I did spoof Sparkles though, she went all in, some people are just gullible.

And at that same Manager's Meeting it was also decided that all APs would be liberally comped up to and including RFB no matter how many times or for how much they had beaten any casino for in the past. And that they were to be treated with the utmost respect and deference due to their enormous contributions to the game of blackjack.
