Hello,
I think something important in https://wizardofodds.com/games/blackjack/appendix/17/ is missing.

Could you give us a clue? Obviously there are other counting mechanisms (Hi-Lo seems one mentioned elsewhere).Quote: PhilippeBI think something important...is missing.
My only comment is that it is possible (with some effort) to write one's own simulation - I got slightly higher figures for 1-8 using 83% penetration but then I use UK rules; and using Hi-Lo with 66% penetration gives even higher figures.

I mean, this count is balanced without TC conversion. How could an RC (more or less same as Hi-Lo) of +2 give advantage before lasts decks ?
At the begining of my Blackjack I played this Ace/five system but whith TC conversion. Maybe I was wrong. I don't know.
What I know is that Ken Uston in "Million Dollar Blackjack" page 71 give advantage only in single desk. But an house edge over player from 0.21% to 0.35% with four desks. And, of course, even more with 6 or 8.

If you're looking in to Ace/Five for any kind of serious play, then you need to re-think your strategy... The Ace/Five is just something very simple for players whom are looking to do a 'very little bit' more with the game. If you're looking to actually make money, go pro, whatever, then you should absolutely pick a more powerful system such as Hi/Low, Zen, etc, etc.
Playing it correctly means you've already won.
