My local place gives us some promo chips in our mailers. They are the one bet type that will be taken on a win or loss but still get to keep them on a push. They also pay only even money. You can bet them on anything but if the bet has odds you wont get them. So a blackjack wont pay 3:2 or side bets wont pay anything but even.

I was trying to work out what the best game to play them on were. The casino has .48%HE 6 deck, .33%HE DD, and terrible 1.5%HE single deck 6:5 game. They also have EZ baccarat with no banker commission and UTH and Ult 3card poker.

I was thinking the best bets would be on the baccarat game or blackjack. I am assuming the house edge is the same for baccarat even with the promo chip since baccarat only pays even money anyway. If i play BJ with it am i correct to assume that i should play it at the 6:5 single deck game? since i wont ever get extra payout on a blackjack if i were to get one?? meaning the single deck now has the best "odds" over the DD and shoes game with these promo chips? (the rules are very close besides the 6:5 on the single deck)

The Baccarat, no strategy required.

Blackjack effectively pays Even Money no matter what, so short of counting or back-counting, you would play whatever game otherwise has the best Rules. That said, Baccarat is the superior choice.

UTH has a low element of risk, but there is a strategy to the game that you would have to learn. You also lose a bit on the Blind bet, so you'd want to put an actual chip on that, I would say.

Ultimate 3CP is an inferior choice to Baccarat.

I don't think you should use the HE of .48% and .33% for the blackjack games listed. Because BJ is only paid even money on the rounds with the promo chips, the house edge climbs to somewhere over 2% (don't remember exact number), for those rounds.

Yeah i was wondering that myself.... That why i asked if theoretically the 6:5 suckerjack becomes a better bet when betting promo chips?? At the very least the SD is a pitch game which is always fun. Sounds like the EZ baccarat is the best bet for sure though..

Also thanks for that article.

No, because in either case BJ effectively pays Even Money, so the Rules become equal in that aspect. If you wanted to play BJ, though Baccarat is better, you'd want to play the BJ game that otherwise has the best Rules.

Baccarat or roulette.

The House Advantage on these bets is undefined (negative infinity percent), as the casino cannot win any money when you make them.

For most any game with even money payouts the value is slightly less than half of what you can win (I wouldn't recommend betting an inside number on roulette if you win the same as if betting red or black). At $5 I usually play black jack so I have the chance to split or double and possibly win enough to cover lunch. For small amounts, the difference in value between blackjack, craps, roulette, baccarat, is measured in pennies. At $1000 I would play a game where I could bet the opposite side and win something no matter what the result.
