Hi folks, where in the Fremont District are the best single deck games? Can I find anything with decent rules and quarter (or less) min bets? I'm headed there for a few nights later this year, and am wondering if I should brush up on my single deck strategy (including basic strategy, and count-dependent betting/playing). I've heard the nature of single deck games is pretty unique, so I'd do some studying up beforehand. But first want to get a sense of what kind of single deck games are offered Downtown. Thanks!

(note: I almost exclusively play double deck - will double deck strategy work well enough on a single deck game? Both in terms of basic strategy and count-dependent strategy)

There are only a handful of playable games in fremont, as I noticed the last time through this year. You owe it to yourself, however, to play the el cortez as Aces mentioned, simply to get kicked out. Its practically a right of passage for counters to find their seat in the sweaty spaniard, just to get kicked out the second they are down a few dollars.

Gotta love the place though, its got practically a cult following built up around its "heat".

El C.

Played at the $5 single deck game there two weeks ago. Got a lot of stares for my betting patterns, even though it just a standard pressing after a win progression. My min was $5 and maxed at $45. Ended up leaving up $85 with no comment from the boss.

Maybe if I wasn't tipping....
I invented a few casino games. Info: http://www.DaveMillerGaming.com/ ————————————————————————————————————— Superstitions are silly, childish, irrational rituals, born out of fear of the unknown. But how much does it cost to knock on wood? 😁
