I am traveling in Poland right now and I came across few casinos with what seem to be ideal environment for counting. Gambling here is somewhat lucrative to the average citizen so it's very easy to find a table by yourself, and I was playing for an entire day at a table spreading from 1 unit to 4 hands of 30 units each without any heat. Rules here are generally as follows: 6 deck ENHC dealer BJ takes all bets, BJ pays 3:2, S17, DO2, DAS, split to as many hands as you want including aces, early surrender unless ace is showing. This puts the HA at around 0.4%

However, I have ran such game in CVData, and compared it to regular 6 deck game with not as liberal rules (H17, Do2, DAS, split to 4, no ace split, and no surrender, HA 0.6%). I repeatedly came up with the result where the ENHC game earns significantly lower EV than the regular game, given the same spread and penetration. Can anybody confirm with this result? How can a game with lower starting HA ends up with less EV than the game with higher HA?

The house edge of the Polish game is 0.2%. BTW, what is the penetration? If the pen is good I think the game is quite worth playing. And add to it the European casino people ignorance (you can spread like crazy).

My mistake, I forgot to add in the early surrender rule when calculating the edge, the HA for this game is indeed just over 0.2%.

The penetration is 1-1.5 decks depending on the dealer, and 5 cards are burnt at the beginning of each new shoe.

But the thing baffles me is that why the EV of this game is so much lower than the conventional 6 deck game which has a 0.6% HA? I made sure to use the modified Basic strategy for the ENHC game in the simulations.

please pm me here .. you are making a mistake in the software.. That game is much better than h17 junk.. your leaving your normal indexes up and normal basic stragtey where bj does not take all.

with enhc bj takes all make sure not to double on 10vs 10 and ace in high counts. And don't double 11 vs 10 and 11 vs Ace when the count calls for it. Split AA's only against a 10 and don't split them against an ace. Also don't splits 88's vs 10 or ace and don't split 99 vs ACE when the count calls for that index play if you use..

I can prob help you more.. please pm.. I have some questions too.
