Hi and im very new to blackjack but im very interested on LEARNING. so my question is when do you start counting cards? if the casino is using a continuous shuffling machine with 6 decks, do i count cards even when i didnt start the table? or is it necessary that when you count cards, it should be a newly opened table? would counting still be effective if the table is running for about an hour already but uses a CSM. thats what confuses me. appreciate the help.

Can't count a CSM (unless you're super advanced and know how to do weird stuff).
Count on a regular shoe game, right after the shuffle.
If you learned how to count and what it means (ie: the ins and outs), you'd be able to answer your own question.

Appreciate the quick response. atleast i know that i would not go deeper in card counting coz here in our country all casinos uses CSM for blackjacks. so theres no point on learning.

Indeed there are special ways to attack CSM's, but that is a bit more of an advanced play. If you're still curious on counting, how it works, why it works, etc, feel free to check out my A to Z Counting Cards in Blackjack thread. As the title states, it takes beginners from A-Z =p and even talks about CSM's all the same.
