Can the mathoholics confirm these odds? I couldn't find it listed in any of the Wizards sidebets on WOO.
Chances of a four card straight flush AKQJ = 1 in 6,497,400 (52 * 51 * 50 * 49)
Chances of a dealer blackjack = 1 in 483.4 (52/4 * 51/16 * 50/15 * 49/14)
Quote: racquetForget the name of it, but it's a $5 side bet where, if the dealer has blackjack, you win on a sliding scale based on the dealer's two cards combined with yours, from (Any Hand = $75) up to (Diamond Royal Flush (AKQJ) = progressive jackpot). You essentially are betting in FAVOR of a dealer blackjack. You bet $5, no more, no less.

It's called Super 4 Progressive Blackjack. A thread by that name was started on Feb 11th. Miplet was kind enough to do the math. Check it out.
Have you played it or are you waiting for the house edge? I stopped in this morning and saw the progressive go to $100,000.

Really? You can pinpoint the date, but couldn't be bothered to provide a link to the thread in question? How lazy are you?

I assume you're kidding, DJ, but maybe you're not. It's okay either way. Anyone who knows me knows that I am as far from lazy as one can possibly be. I didn't get where I am by sitting on my hands. I have a long standing policy of never providing links on this site and I have my reasons. Thank you for providing it.
I also have a long standing request to the administrators that no on ever be suspended for insulting me.

Way way off on dealer blackjack calculation.

It's 1 in 21 right?

I know this is old news on this forum, but I want to get my head around the idea. Here's my impression:
Chance of drawing an ace in a 52-card deck: 4/52
Chance of drawing a 10-value card (10-J-Q-K) from the remaining deck: 16/51
Chance of drawing a blackjack: 4 / 52 * 16 / 51 = .0241327 or 2.413% or 1 chance in 41.4 ( 1 / .0241327 )
Why times 2?

Because it doesn't matter if the ace is your first or second card.
(4/52 × 16/51) + (16/52 × 4/51)
Both those two are equivalent, so ×2 works for simplicity.
Quote: Baccaratfrom79For those of you familiar with MS, do they still have the 2 high limit pits with baccarat or are they back to the original one with the small 'help yourself' food area in the rear. The original one had the couple of steps down into the area. Just wondering??
Mohegan Sun still has both. There are no "big" tables on the floor but they have them in storage and they are brought out on certain holidays. They can also be requested if certain requirements are met.
Foxwoods has no big tables. You can request Macau style on the midi games if you play $200 minimums. They are in the Newport Room.

That's just not fair! Rules are rules, period. If you can be suspended for insulting anyone, then you can be suspended for insulting 1BB. I'm thinking (slowly) but don't know just exactly how I'd like to insult you at the moment (just to test the system of course). I'll get back to you later......2F

I said I was thinking (slowly) about how to test the system. Might have it now, you're into that 'wearing frilly women's underwear habit' along with the rest of the Mods aren't you? 2F
Quote: Baccaratfrom79Last time I flew into Foxwoods, they still had the 4 big tables of baccarat with the roulette over in the right corner as you walked in the room. The lounge/food on the left. Guess it has changed also?
Midi only. Some tables have 10 spots and some have 8.
