I saw a guy at the casino with a shirt that had the basic strategy chart on it. I've seen them before but it's been a while.

The same link that neverfinished posted here appeared on a very prominent blackjack forum this morning. The name neverfinished was changed to three initials but it's the same poster.
The post got several positive responses including "I like it" and "That's the funniest thing I've ever seen. Glad you posted it" No one whined about spam, the post didn't get busted, the poster didn't get banned and the sun will still rise tomorrow.
Just some good laughs, which some of us could really use.

While I agree comedy is always welcome, the Blackjack subforum is not necessarily the place for it. Had he posted that under General Discussion with a title like "This shirt is hilarious" it 'might' have been a little different. It appeared as though he was directly soliciting our subcommunity. If that were okay, then I've got some shirts, hats, lucky charms, and PROVEN systems I'd like to link you to for only $4.99 each!!! The spammers would take up our small community each trying to make a sale or two. Other forums can do what they like, I'll go to the forum that doesn't allow spam/solicitation. For the integrity of the subforum we're a part of, we should keep it to exactly that, Blackjack... In my opinion.
Playing it correctly means you've already won.

I know you visit that forum, Romes. I'm just pointing out that different people handle things differently and not everyone feels threatened by harmless posts.

I like some humor in the threads and appreciate the mods bending the rules to allow that. However, this seems to be a case of pure solicitaion, not sharing. As such I think B3 was right in dropping the nuke hammer fast and hard.
