First session:

Asian lady hovering at table next to me with 3 blacks and 3 greens
I was waiting for her to pounce on as soon as my dealer was about the deal...of course, she did and the dealer and I chuckled

Why would she sit down at a 100 table with 375? It makes no sense to me

The first hand she also bet 25 on the "match the dealer" side bet

On the first hand I was dealt a 20
Dealer blackjack

Asian lady lost first three hands and threw her empty cigarette box on the floor and walked away

The second time I was dealt a 20 the dealer also had blackjack lol

I was down about 1k midway through the shoe but made a nice recovery, including
The last hand double down 6,3 v 3
I got dealt a 9 for 18
Dealer had 3, turned over an 8 then drew a 6 for 17

Trip is +200

Take your time and shop for penetration even if you have to play on the main floor. Pay attention to the relief dealers' pen as well.

Ace, Just curious. I've never been to any of these other casinos in the USA. Only Vegas for me. Well, maybe a couple local Casinos to golf. Are you getting the same enjoyment out of these places? Same atmosphere? Same vibe? Same high rollers? same entertainment? Same rooms and amenities? Same perks? same people watching? Is the food as good as Wynn, Aria or any of the strip hotels? Or is it just for the gambling action? Money? Gamble, eat, see Alice cooper and go to the room? For me, I like VEGAS. There is nothing like it and the other Indian Casinos do nothing for me. That's me. You?

To answer your questions:

I am not getting the same enjoyment as I do when I am in Vegas -- however, it is still enjoyable, just a different type of enjoyment (i.e. I have family in CT so they drop by to visit)

The atmosphere and vibe different--it is not larger than life (although MS is a huge casino)

the high limit room blackjack tables were pretty empty but craps was packed

Entertainment as far as concerts is equal to Vegas - every big name stops at MS

Rooms are nowhere near Vegas (I do not have a suite here but have seen the suites) the rooms are very New England style - white, beige colors and country inspired design

MS has some nice restaurants but nothing like Vegas

People watching does not compare -- the people watching here is like going to your local mall

PS -- my clothes are saturated with smoke and I do not even remember seeing many smokers

dose of salmonella from the under cooked

before they cooked it. Bad idea. You'll live.

Hey Ace,

Try the New England bake (clams, lobsters, andouille, corn, potatoes, in old bay seasoning) from the Summer Shack. Seafood is good over there. I always make a pitstop if I get the chance. Lobster bisque too.

MS always gets pretty packed, but I hate their BJ tables. I don't think I've ever had a winning session there life to date. Have a fun time!

Ok just played a nice 90 minute session
Started out with some nice runs and was up a quick 500
However, the second 30 minutes were not as kind to me as I lost terrible hands (20 to BJ; double downs getting dealt squadoosh) -- the gentlemen playing at the table certainly marched to the beat of their own drummers--sometimes standing on multi-card 16s while sometimes hitting; sometimes hitting 10,2 v 4 and sometimes not; sometimes surrendering 16 v 10 and other times hitting it; even splitting deuces v a dealer Ace)
The final 30 minutes turned around and variance was on my side

You mean the Vista Lounge...that is a nightclub which also has BJ tables. There is one back and to the left of that (JFK style) and there is one that you have to take a few steps down to get to near the Sachem Lounge) -- there is also a Baccarat area that has some mid level BJ tables as well

I read all this and see all the pics and I get all the sadness :( I had tix to Motley Crue with a 3 night suite-stay. All canceled due to my idiocy and the back-off last month. Ace -- hit em hard for me!

@ others: there are $50 pits in Casino of the Earth which are always very full of very smoky Asians. Casino of the Sky has a $100 pit always open generally not crowded, a $50 pit open on weekend nights only, and a $500 pit always open (but always empty).

That $500 minimum pit is very nice but, come on, $500? Players have asked for the minimums to be dropped when the entire pit is dead, which is most of the time. Those requests have been granted but I don't know if it's the norm. As far as I can see, it's a complete waste at $500. The casino's view obviously differs from mine.

Cooper's theatrics were great and he was in good voice.

Vince Neil's voice is kind of shot and it seemed they kept his vocals lowered in the mix BUT, I was in awe that Mick Mars, with his illness, could actually get out there for 2 hours and slay it
Motley Crue definitely won the pyrotechnics battle of the night and not a dry eye in the house when they came out to play Home Sweet Home before saying gnite

I like the idea of Robb Zombie carrying not he traditions of Alice Cooper but have never really gotten into his music

Will do - it is just tough as the formatting code from www.tinypic.com differs from the code called for on the forums so I have to remove brackets and wording

to the powers that be here - is there any chance we can allow the code generated by www.tinypic.com to work here

the code allowed here for posting pics is
Quote: wov

[ img=URL]

whereas tiny pic generates
Quote: tinypic

so, in order to post pics here that I upload to tinypic, I have to take out the first "]" then add an "=" sign then take out "[/IMG"

doing this on an iPhone is annoying but, I am not sure anyone sympathizes with me lol

I have an audio copy of this show plus a bunch of other Alice shows.

Allentown Fairgrounds
Allentown, PA
2014-08-27 Opened for Motley Crue

01. Introduction
02. Hello Hooray
03. No More Mr. Nice Guy

06. Billion Dollar Babies
07. Poison
08. Dirty Diamonds

11. Ballad of Dwight Fry
12. Killer
13. I Love The Dead
14. School's Out

Several years ago he incorporated Pink Floyd's Another Brick in the Wall in the middle of Schools Out.
Really liked those versions of Schools Out. He would do 1st few verses on Schools out, segue into Another Brick then segue back into end of Schools Out.
