At the local racino - with the electronic table games - they were offering a side bet titled High-Tie BJ at all of the tables. The 'dealers' gave me a card to take home about the bet, so I thought I'd post here to see how bad vs awful this side bet is for the player:


"High-Tie B/J" (Both player and Dealer have a B/J) - 50:1
Suited B/J - 15:1
Suited Pair - 10:1
Non-suited B/J - 6:1
Any Pair - 3:1

Ah, thanks. 6.1%....I guess in the world of side bets its not the worst. BTW, I did stay away from it, and had a profitable evening, both there and on a short stint at craps.
