Jeez! Is it written some where in the rules of BJ that I pull a ten when I have a 12??

It's gotten to the point where I expect to bust if I have 12. When I don't, I'm shocked. If I happen to pull a nine then I'm dumbfounded.

(BTW, this is out of any sort of statistical norm!)

That's my rant.

What this means is that usually there is some sort of perception bias, in that it annoys you so much you remember it out of any sort of statistical norm. Its like getting dealt 16. You remember those.

Just be like the other players and never hit twelve. It seems to always work for them.

I find the thing I remember most is when the dealer pulls out 21s when the count is good using small cards and I have a big hand. It's because I have bigger bets out there and it's a stab to the heart.

BTW I read Grosjean's article about why many independent events may tend towards a certain number is the "denominator" not the numerator. Think about that......

No. Most AP strategies are only used by APs and not 99.9% of the blackjack players.

That happened to me yesterday! The count went to TC6+, put out 2 hands of my max. Lost. The count still stayed up put up another max. Lost again. Well you know the rest.

12-13-14 very common openers in Blackjack. Bad hands they are.
