Playing head to head only with the dealer on a double deck game, I came across certain ideas that has worked and not worked for me. This is how I was able to make my sessions more efficient.
- Dealers shuffle the same way so the order of the cards "does not change much".
- Play blackjack at a table that uses the same deck of cards or not, depends on "how good the track of the cards are"
1. Scenario: Player and dealer rarely hitting blackjack
Thoughts:
- Neither the dealer of I hit blackjack because the aces were usually near low cards, creating a lot of soft hands
- With the same style of shuffle, the chances of the aces moving to a high card was low, regardless of where I was cutting.
Solution:
After 1hr or so of play, If the aces I see throughout each dd run are coupled with soft hands, I leave the table.
Other thoughts about this:
- But when the dealer and I hit lots of blackjacks, I stay.
2. Technique: Remember where the high cards are and placing them at the bottom of the deck
Thoughts:
- It's been pretty successful, but it's hard to explain in words. I'm looking for a good shuffle/ace tracking website.
3. Scenario: DD has low TC variation
Thoughts:
- I stay at the table way too long, give and take 50/50 -ish. waste of my time
Solution
- After playing 1hr or so of play, leave or go to another table.
- Find a deck with a volatile count and stay
Any others have techniques on shuffle tracking to increase +TC?

This is defiantly a winning trend. I have used it in baccarat for many years.
Shed not for her
the bitter tear
Nor give the heart
to vain regret
Tis but the casket
that lies here,
The gem that filled it
Sparkles yet

I came across a couple books at a local LV bookstore that I thought was intriguing.
The blackjack shuffle trackers cookbook by Arnold Snyder
Advantage play for the casino executive by Bill Zender
It seemed to be very specific, but I was wondering if the blackjack community here has read and applied it as well?
